I think the old system was much fairer than the one they tried this war. At least the people who got the most points were the ones who had the strongest pets. I was rank two but my pet was only strong enough to beat the first wave opponent, which is why I only got 13 points. And the ugliest trophy

I know a couple of people who tried eating them and nothing happened. I suppose TNT could add in some stuff later, but the description of the Neggs does say that they're just ordinary neggs that have been painted.
I'd trade trophies with you if it was possible, dreamer! I actually really like the Maraquan stuff (especially loved the second trophy for the Maraquan Supporters) but I couldn't stand to side with "good guys" who are barely, if at all, better than the "bad guys".

I got one of everything from the Garin negg down, and I have points left over. I feel bad for you guys, so I'm going to do what I can...
However...I only have 44 points left.
What are the items you would like?
Once I get an idea on what to get, I will put them in my trades for PPT'ers ONLY. I will charge less than the shop wiz just for you guys (and to help pay myself back for all those onion balms

You know, I was defending the neopets staff. I was saying things like, "Quitcher whining, there's no way they'll be stupid enough not to slant the prizes so that the higher-level pets get worse stuff."
I was.
Now, I'm not.
I made out pretty well, especially for a level 2 warrior, but all in all, this is complete and total nonsense. Did they not THINK to look at the average scores for each rank of warrior? Did they not THINK to say, "Jeez, the level 2 pets aren't scoring as well as the level 1 pets, and the level 3 pets are even worse off?" Did they not THINK to look at the scores and say, "Seems to me that the point cost for the level 1s should be higher since they're scoring so inconsistently higher than the other levels?"
No, no, and no.
The neopets staff completely, totally, utterly screwed up on the point redemption system. They had all of these chances, and I'm sure that they've been reviewing message boards and fan pages every so often, and I'm absolutely positive that they had the capability to look at things like average scores and, if not fix problems on the fly, then certainly to at least come up with equitable, well-thought out solutions to the problem of getting prizes.
They DID allow for multiple prizes per user, which is good. And they DID come up with a good plot, good comics, and good characters.
But they really dropped the ball at the end of the thing, even though they had plenty of indicators that something might be wrong with the way things were being handled.
I'm going to have a hard time ever defending TNT again. A very hard time.

I would be SO much less bitter if they hadn't "forgotten" to give me the link to cancel quests until about 1 week before the plot was over. Then never go ahead and make it 12 hours between rather than once a day.
So it was great sitting on an unbuyable for a good part of the war.
The supporter system sucked. I mean, I made a bit of points on the games (I ended up with about 112 points) and I'm happy that I have the sidebar. But that's where the good ends.
I'm wondering how I ended up as Rank 1 Supporter? And what it was supposed to mean? I mean, yeah, I got a lot of 1 item quests (no 3 items). Many were healing items. You know, like the Healing Potion XVIIII. Almost UB. And I had just splurged on the lab map. So there goes my funds. I'm left with almost nothing because I really wanted to do well in this war (having gotten a massive...6 points, I think? on the others) but now, I'm thinking I'm not going to get involved with any others.
I just really, really wanted the Blorbis. That's all. And then I just got the dumb supporter Cup.

Thanks for saying that shapu. I wanted to weep, or vomit, when I actually went to the redemption center with my 35 points. I just cancelled my Premium service and sent them a nasty little blurb about why they aren't getting my money. Every war people seem to rant about it being worse than the previous one. The sad thing is that it's entirely too true. I've been here for five years and I thought the last one where 0 points earned you the same prize as 4000 was the biggest slap in the face, until now.

I think they really need to take a step back- back to the days, perhaps, where plots were flash movies (although they weren't very good), there were no ranks, and prizes were generous to everyone. I think some of the downsides then are totally preferrable to the downsides of the wars of late.

Indeed. It's as if they tried to do too much, and thought everything through but the end.
