This glitch I think will have to be fixed. It probably is some server or, like the BD, a database move. But they should definitely let everyone know what's happening. It's ridiculous to not tell the people who are helping to keep your site popular and growing and supporting you just what you're doing.
My lovely ghost dragoyle:( I hope she finds her way home soon, along with the boween, huggy and anubis that are off in the neo-limbo that exists.
My question is for the people who have very old, retired/changed petpets. Will those people get their fat cats, redtails, baby vampires, etc. back?
The whole thing just does not bode well for people who have just joined due to the happy meals. I mean, if you joined a site and all you got were site down, error, refresh pages, games not working, shop/np disappearing, etc. would you stay?

I think its unfair they dont tell us anything

Sigh woke up this morning in hopes that my petpets and paintbrushes were back but no hope. Most my petpets have been equipted for over 2 years, so i am hoping the age doesent reset. At this point i just want it them all back.. i can live with the age reset. Alot of my friends have lost petpets and tons of their paintbrushes that it is just not funny. I hope tnt figured this out cause it is NOT fun
Funny though. I actually didn't play most of yesterday in hopes that i wouldn't be affected, but yet i still was Most games i play if you dont' log on you are not affected by glitches or you have a choice to take the risk. But with neopets we are all affected by what happens. We have no choice in the matter really. Yes we can get up and walk away and get a life but without us neopets would be no more so i doubt they want that.
I personally dont' mind the whole Mcdonalds thing. I mean i enjoy the plushies and would rather pay under 3 bucks for food and their plushie them buy an overly priced one at limited too. Which i only do because i collect unicorns and well uni's yeah. I think neopets could have handled this better. I mean they knew people were going to come to the site because of the promotion. One would think that they would leave any major maitnence for until after the month of promotion or atleast don't do something like this.
I like neopets and i am greatful that they work hard to keep the site the way it is " a family site" and that they continue to provide me with free entertainment (other then my plushie hoard). They do a great job on most things and sooner or later, usually later, we finally get what they promise us. (If they dont' promise it to us we prolly get it faster.) We most likely dont' thank them enough but that is the way the consumer is. I dont' have to worry about half the crap i worry about other places. But as in all games they go thru their glitches before they get better. That is understandable. But the customer service and pr has to be there also. Without that all the advertising of new stuff for the consumer to buy is pointless. Cause if you ticked off enough people you will stop selling most of your new stuff.
Neo is putting out so much junk that everytime i go to wal*mart i see clearence of mostly all neopets items. So why not give it a rest and help out the people playing the game?
I dunno i guess i am frustraited but also trying to see their point of view. Which seems to be a little side tracked right now.

Just signed on this morning and almost wanted to cry when I noticed my petpets on my main account and gallery account were gone. I even checked my boyfriend's account and all gone I REEEEEEEEEAAAALLY hope that everything comes back. I am too afraid to check whether or not my abilites and secret avs are gone.... I was keeping my petpets attached to try and see if they pick it for the PPL :\

It would be nice to get the petpets, avs and abilities back, wouldn't it? I'm not disheartened by the fact that all three of those things went *poof* in my account. After all, neopets is nothing more than a game (:-p Or an addiction depending on how much time you spend on there...*grins).
If the petpets, avs and abilities don't come back? Well, at least we'll all have something to work towards in addition to any current goals we may have set for ourselves on neopets!
And if someone said they thought their petpets came back; but then vanished again, I'd take that as a good sign that they're trying to restore all the databases, maybe that try just didn't work as well as they had hoped?

I lost around 1 mil in petpets. You bet I'm angry. I know that not everything can be "perfect", but honestly! They really had better refund us. None of this "sorry, we can't compensate for glitches" nonsense.

The only petpet I lost that was worth anything was my roburg 3t3 + zytch, but I love that little guy I also had a gruslen because i wanted the av. I'm about 60+ days off from that though. As long as we get them back I'll be okay. My faerie abilities are gone too, but I didn't have too many so I'm not too concerned. I still want them back, but... My avs are still all there, but I have checked my other account yet. Sigh.
