xjox- Actually, your Tiki Armor issue spurred some wonderful debates. I have formed a few suggestions lately such as people being banned from neopets for a set time instead of frozen, reports of behavior being posted in thier User Lookups, and that scammers should have to pay restitution as well as a fine.

i've thought of something very similar, talked to others on the neoboards about it, we've even written to the neopian times editorial about it....but of course no response, ever. they seem set in their ways, however flawed.

i mean, really. my first account on neo was frozen a while back for posting the lyrics to the "sweater song" by weezer. they weren't offensive. i think the reason i was frozen is because previously i had recieved a warning when i told a chatter something like "don't post about hentai on the neoboards"
i dont think that was something i should have been permently frozen for, but whatever. it was a long time ago

So, would say that you are somebody who would have rather been banned from neoboards (or even your whole account) for a few weeks over the offense instead of frozen? Even when you were lily white innocent.

heheh. yes, because i can agree that the word "hentai" is offensive enough for a bot to automatically warn me, even if i was scolding someone, and not thinking about the fact that i said it.

just, i feel like minor punishments for offenses not cheating/scamming related would decrease the amount of people unfairly frozen, such as yourself. TNT should give it some thought

I think taking advantage of a glitch (like once, not REPEATEDLY) should also be a LOWER crime than scamming.

I agree with you, vinylraven. Offensive stuff needs to be cracked down on or the boards would become a toilet. Some believe they are not far from it now. If you did it repeatedly, I think a permanent ban from neoboards would be MUCH more appropriate than freezing your account.

and stampsyne, i would have happily settled for a permanent chat ban, even if it wasn't exactly fair. i just wish i hadn't lost my pets

I think the neopets staff has lost focus on what is important. THE PETS. I complain about missing the games, the money, and the items. What I miss most is MY PETS. My poor Maraquan Grarrl ... in limbo! My Tyrannian Krawk not getting any battle action. A white Draik that wants to be Maraquan and is lost to me. My Split Lupe that LOVES the lab ray, not getting blasted.

I would gladly face fines or even the loss of my entire bank account to have them back!
