So, the Storeroom and Weapons Room must be the same? In the last frame of Chef's story, "our character" notes that Kentari said he saw Chef coming out of the storeroom, but in Kentari's story he clearly said "weapon's room."
Perhaps our 'character' is smarter than we think. Maybe 'we' are trying to catch Bonju out? He definitely seems suspicious, 'deliberately' leaving out the part where he raids the weapon/store room. Our character probably realised that and said 'storeroom' instead of 'weaponsroom' because if Bonju wasn't nervous/guilty he would have immediately realised that we said storeroom and not weaponsroom.
And the weaponsroom and the storeroom are 99% not the same room because then Kentari would have let Orrin out when he inspected the weapons.

3) What work did Orrin still have left to do in "supplies" and why was Kentari so eager to get back to "weapons" inspection?
Perhaps he had to make a list to make sure everything was in place? Something similar, most storerooms need to be monitored regularly

4) Where was Orrin during the storm? I don't see him in any frames helping to secure the ship.
Still in the room

Heh
A question of my own... If they have a storeroom, why did their supplies get washed away?
3) The first panel of the first chapter has Tuan asking if he'd finished inventory. That was the work Orrin was completing
4) Not just in the storeroom, but LOCKED there. Last page of the first chapter we see the captain's realization that Orrin was still down there and he PASSES A KEY to his first mate instructing him to let Orrin out.
5) Maybe they were all friends landside. Remember, the worst roommate is a friend, 'cause if you're stuck with them day-in, day-out, you usually go bonkers after a while. Too much of a good thing and all.
As to the question of the storeroom/supplies...
The storeroom, from the fact that Tuan seems to be the only one with a key (else why would he have to pass it on to his FIRST MATE to release Orrin) seems to be where they store either cargo or the really important stuff (I'm thinking those expensive pictures of the Gnorbu Venus and all).
The supplies, I'm guessing being what the crew uses on the voyage and all, may very well be stored in a non-secure location (as may be less important cargo). Another possibility here is they could've been secure but they were unsecured as part of a plan to create a distraction so were easily lost to the sea
I find that little voice in the back of my head is becoming more and more insistant that nobody went overboard. Orrin heard a yell and a splash... didn't actually see anyone fall in... could have been someone yelling and throwing something in the water (one more object wouldn't be out of place with the flotsam there!). Our missing person could've simply found a really good place to hide (or used an invisibility spell?) and disembarked at a convenient location.
Alas, I can't back up my suspicions. We have four more crew members to get stories from, assuming we do speak to them all.
Which means, if the past sequence of timing is anything to judge by, four more weeks before we get to do much of anything.
EDIT: As far as storeroom vs weapons room is concerned, I think they're completely different. When Kentari was working on the weapons, polishing his sword and all, there was no sign nor mention of Orrin. I would think if it were the same room, there would at least be an image of him working.
No, I think they're very different, which is why I noted the discrepancy back when the newest chapter first came out. We're apparently solving a mystery based on using small details to ferret out the wrong story and every little thing could make a difference. Being clumsy with language like that doesn't help in an investigation of this type. Still, same room or not, the Chef was caught leaving something important out of his story which strongly reeks of obfuscation, IMHO!
EDIT2: Hmm... but from rereading the first panel I cited above, Tuan asked if he'd finished inventorying the SUPPLIES. So... maybe they have multiple supply/storage rooms?
