Adoptable Lutaris

The announcement was made less than 24 hours ago, I was under the impression they'd release a few every 30 minutes... Judging by how many are out, there's probably still 3000 or so that'll be released. Actually, as I'm writing this, there are some available this moment. ^^'

Oh, wow.. in the few minutes I took to read something, it seems they just released 500 more Lutaris... and they are, of course, all gone.

It doesn't make sharing the information here very useful...
When I notice any released, I'll still post, though.
Hopefully one of these times, I'll be a bit less behind.

Hmm... All Gone. I saw a window of availability there of at least a minute and a half, so if someone REALLY wants one enough, its not IMPOSSIBLE... just requires a ludicrous ammount of checking.
I've been under the impression (with other limited release pets) that the moment some became available, they'd all be gone a moment later.
Hey, a window of two minutes leaves room for some hope...?

They add more about every 30 minutes. if you really want one, HOUND the Create-A-Pet and Popular Pets pages until you see one available, then create like MAD. XD;

I wish it was possible to pound them so I could grab a bunch and give them to people. ><;

At midnight NST I noticed the number of created Lutaris was 60 higher than those available... and that the number has dropped to 49.
I know the number available (from what I've read and heard) covers just the ones created by normal means (aka, no lab or transmog potions, etc.) so I'm not going, "hey! how is that possible! *angst, angst, angst!!!*"

Also, I understand that Lutaris HATE the pound and will go POOF! when placed in it, which means they can not be adopted. (Although, the lack of poundability does at least make it harder to make profit from creating and selling a Lutari. Yae to attempted decrease in discouraged behavior!)

My point:
My guess is that people attempting to pound Lutaris is a contributing factor as to why the number of pets in existance, compared to the number available, is decreasing slightly.

I could totally be wrong, though.

I still somehow find it an amusing thought that the number of Lutaris may decrease due to their "NO POUND FOR ME! RRAWR!" mindset.

Is it typical for there to be large 3hour gaps(when limited editions are being released)? I have been clicking since 11:42NST every 15-30seconds.

Eh...I don't see what is so great about lutaris...other than they are limited. Personally, I find them to be one of the ugliest neopets!

hey, I was one of the lucky people who got a lutari the first time they were released. The thing is, I didn't bother with any of the stats or pet info or anything once I had the name in, and Quorly turned out male when I wanted him to be female. (I'd picked the name of a girl otter from a book.) So I was wondering what would be the easiest way to change his gender without using the lab ray? I had no idea strange potions were so expensive! T___T
