There's always a clue, regardless if it gets found. A lot of times their clues are weak and tkae a lot of guessing to get to the next point, nevertheless theres a clue.
Heh, like your Maraqua siggy. Anyway, I agree. Well always working together, that is obvious at this point, but also regarding clue vs. that.
Usually it is in the form of a pattern of posting of results. The 20 were posted some while back anyway, sorry I haven't the link but was "recent."
EDIT: It still begs, if only 20 then what combination or sequence, though.
What are you talking about? None of that made any sense to me at all.
Apologies, I read wrong to begin with then confused someone. What I meant to say is that TNT always encourages us to work together, of course.
Now if there are ONLY 20 "results" from any of the 50k++ spells, it seems like that would mean a finite *sequence* of 20 or less. That is not so impossible. Theoritcal math is far out, but people working together saves time. This I know.

TNT encourages us to work together, but they wouldn't REQUIRE it, because some of the younger users aren't allowed on, say, the Neoboards.
Exactly.
Well...a lot of times we have had to indirectly work together, like defeating a zillion evil critters in a war, or moving furninture in a ginormous pyramid....
The things other people did influenced us, and helped us, but it did not requrie communciation

Well unfortunately younger players are not allowed a lot on Neopets. But if they are they can still use parents help or a calculator.
Not to mention anyone on dial-up no matter what age could not complete anything beyond the Gladiator without "help" from another, so it seems.
Good thing math is only one universal language, too.

You don't suppose, do you, that we need to add the coordinates for each constellation, find the corresponding room, and another magic book in there, and either the amount of possible spells will be cut down each time or some other clue provided?
How was it determined that it was the particular statue that was used for this present room?

Can someone help me find my Hunter Constellation? the Coords that I got don't seem to have the new coords even though the Archivist has told me to go find the constellation. And yes I found the other half of the constellation. Can someone help?

I tried taking my username and replacing the letters with the number regarding the alphabet. For instance, A would be 1.
Although the numbers grouped together is higher then the list of spells the book provides, I thought I could try summing it up which would've been a total of 80 -- reasonable. Didn't work.
I also tried going to my book in the Archivist's office and looking at the properties of the Sleeper chapter image- it has numbers in the url, but it didn't work either.
Hey, I tried.

So far I've tried spells 1 through 20,000. Nothing of interest to report as of yet.
Once I'm done going through all 50,000+, I can set up the program to go through any sequence needed (assuming this gets no hits). Please recommend the next sequence to program it to try (right now it goes 1 through 50 whatever thousand.

Well when I goto the statues, i can put a necklace on all of them but the numbers that come up for the darkest faerie and the hunter all lead to something about a ghost coming past me.

What you have posted thus far, the "only 20 possibilities" per each 50k spell, is magnificent, in my opinion. Depending on what kind of program you are using, I might warn any automation (perhaps with the exception of *monitored* automation) might be disallowed per rules but perhaps your program might eventually calculate something for us, and that might be very different and allowed (like the coordinate finder and mapper).
Please do keep us updated, and thanks.

I checked. Nothing for my Dreamer constellation. I may try Altador for lack of anything better to try, but it looks like this idea doesn't work.

I figured out my values as
18, 10
but where do I enter them in to use them? I'm so confused.

http://ludibrius.com/Neopets/Irc/Java.html
It's new! It's nifty! It makes irc accessible to anyone with java! Come now to discuss. Back on topic, I think we should all stop going through random spell numbers and start experimenting with other things. It won't be as simple as finding a random spell out of 52,143 </sarcasm>

Ahh yes no hits of course, will save you. But why ask what sequence next? You are the programmer.

Shouldn't it be starting from the first, then next and/or random? Something like that anyway, I just know a program can do it better and faster than my brain, but don't know how to program, lol. Geesh, the limits of technology.

Sure, goto the statues, click on their chests and it will put a new picture up. the link above in address bar has #'s and it always gives me the same response
the link i have for the hunter and the necklace is
http://www.neopets.com/altador/hallofheroes.phtml?
view_statue_id=12&necklace=1135a7593dca755c260c54a9db29ee2c
SNak Edit: Long links that stretch the page makes the forums sad. Chopped the link.

ok, for some reason i can't find my book. My coordinates are:
167,261
127,231
87,201
47,201
7,231
-33,261
Now, I added all those up and got 1788. When you add that up it's 24 and hen i go to the room with 24x and 24y and search for my book...nothing.
