Hmm...not everyones spells are the same. Well mine arn't according to whats on your list. Some/most of them seem to match, but I get diffrent results with some of them..

I also found my spellbook using the coordinate theory. I also discovered why I never stumbled upon it. My book is in room 15,0. So apparently 0 rooms can be used too.
Sleeper: (-131,30) (-91,0) (-51,-30) (-11,-30) (29,0) (69,30)
-186, 0
1+8+6=15
0 = 0
Room 15, 0
Book 12
Fri Jun 02, 2006 7:20 pm
My room seems to be even numbers O_o
Sleeper:
(260,47) (200,27) (190,-13) (180,-103) (130,-33) (70,-13)
I added those up:
x - 1030
y - -88
1 + 3 = 4
8 + 8 = 16
I checked that room and none of the books were my spellbook, could someone help me please? ^_^
Fri Jun 02, 2006 7:21 pm
Okay this is still not working for me
My coordinates are
(59, 41)
(99, 11)
(139,-19)
(179, -19)
(219, 11)
(259,41)
I am fairly sure these are correct because the x's are each 40 apart and the y's mirror each other to form the even V shape of the sleepers eyes
Through new improved, calculator aided addition I got
Y= 954
X= 66
Thus
Y = 18
X = 12
However when I look at all the books in room 18, 12 (or 12, 18 for that matter) i don't find any spell book. What am I doing wrong?
Fri Jun 02, 2006 7:22 pm
I got my spellbook using the Sleeper coordinates method as well.
Thanks.
Maybe the spell number has something to do with a different constellation?

Like I said...former lit major. Wanna know about Hemingway? I'm your gal. Want someone to balance your checkbook? Look elsewhere!
Scurries off to check room 15, 6 31 times....

I'm looking up all my constellation coordinates, and I've realized that for the same constellation, all the x-coordinates end with the same number, and the same happens with the y-coordinates.
I don't think is a clue, but it helps you to realize when you miss a star.
Note: I'm using DarkFire starmapper, because the other has removed the coordinates of the old constellations; it would be easier if I could see the coordinates neatly listed there, lol

This Theory Is Strange To Me. My Sleeper Coordinates are:
154, 94
214,-114
274,-94
284,-54
344,-34
264,-184
I would be very grateful for some help

the neoboard thery so didn't work for me
my cordinates were
121, 43
161, 13
201, -17
321, 43
281, 13
241, -17
I got 12,15 but I never found anything maybe I did something wrong?
Fri Jun 02, 2006 7:24 pm
Can I please get a math double check because I tried all of the books and got nothing...twice..
-255, 17
-215, -13
-175, -43
-135, -43
-95, -13
-55, 17
-930 -- -78
For room
12 , 15
Can someone explain to me how this tab method works again just in case I am missing the book with the patent scroll over and click method. /Sigh

*reposts*
Take your (x, y) co-ordinated of your Sleeper, example:
(70,213) (30, 183) (-10, 153) (-50, 153), (-90, 183) (-130, 213)
Add all the "x"s and "y"s together, keep the negative numbers negative.
"x"s add up to -180
"y"s add up to 1098
Then count the "x"s. 1+8=9
Count the y's. 1+9+8=18
That makes 9 and 18
And that would be your room!
This hasn't worked for me as my "x" coordinates add up to 8 (-115, -55, -5, 5, 15, 75 = -80; 8+0=8). I haven't checked out the room yet, however, since everyone says it's supposed to be a multiple of 3. Maybe I should try "my room" coordinates anyway (8 x 9)?
Edit: Nevermind. I'm such a twit; I was looking at the wrong constellation. My room turned out to be 9 x 12; going to find that book now.
Edt: It worked. Now trying doing things with the numbers already used for the spell, nothing so far.

Okay, I did exactly what I was supposed to do, but the book wasn't in there.
My coords:
-30, 44
10, 14
50, -16
90, -16
130, 14
170, 44
x adds up to 480, y adds up to 148. 12, 13.
I've even tried adding the negatives as negatives...450, 84. or 9, 12, but they don't work either. Can someone double check my math?

Please, I've been doing this all morning.

Please let me know which ones are different and what results you get. I have not varified all of them myself and I have found a few mixups already. Also, if people do get differnt things on only some of them, I can make a note of that.
