edit: never mind,dont read that. i think... u no when i said if u look farther away from the map(darkfire) it looks like a poogle sorta? well maybe ... the farmer,a poogle's gems could be the constelation? sorry im not good with clues.

I think that I remember someone saying that they got different numbers of stars on their different maps. My friend has the same total number of stars, but different amounts of each kind.

if the person who posted that help page on their petpage i need help! the thing is dead and it took me hours! anyone? oh and i have confirmed the poogle pic.also someone mentioned dots on the corners of each page, they are ALL 590,590!!!what could this mean??sorry im going crazy again.

Slow down. What help page? What took you hours? And what do you mean confirmed the poogle pic. It really looks like a poogle, or it's an accepted constellation? And yes, everyone seems to have the dots in the corner. Most people think it's just to show that it's the corner.

umm the help page from the pet page..the map on exel? i forgot one thing to do and it blowed up in my face. it LOOKS like a poogle,i dont think i could get a constelation if i tried!lemme see if its accepted...oops remembered the poogle is like, 1/3 of the whole map so its not a cons, maybe im imagining things...

Sylence, not sure if you got my response to your PM or not. I am back and ready to help. Just let me know.
The only way I get star data on is by putting in the numbers under 100 or just using the normal link. When I put in a number over 100 I get an error every time. I thank those who have convinced me to give up refreshing. I am just going to worry about it later if we need a second set of data.

I found the treasure in the deserted tomb. I was just thinking about it and wondering if you ever really found the treasure, or just parts of it. Then, I won it! Certainly my lucky day. Got 250Np from the Fruit Machine, 200Np and two items (ironicly the same) from Tombola, then this. Only burnt food from Coltzan, though.

I looked at that petpage and realized something. Maybe we don't need to plot out the gems, maybe we need to use the small constellations from the cards. Worth a shot eh?

This is probably only of interest to people with some programming skills, but I'll throw it out there for anyone.
After you get a constellation, your get_star_data will change. After the : at the end, more stuff will be there—namely, what constellations you've already made. It will be separated as follows
constellation|constellation|constellation| ...
where constellation =
id!starorline#starorline#starorline# ...
where id = a number
and starorline =
number,number (if it's a star) or number,number;number,number (if it's a line).
After you get a constellation, your get_star_data will change. After the : at the end, more stuff will be there—namely, what constellations you've already made. It will be separated as follows

That supports an earlier observation that there are not enough stars for all 12 constellations. So there must be only one constelation that can be found after all. Can it be implied from all the different maps that we each start with a different constellation?

Additionally it looks as though once you've solved a constellation, it will be attached to your star map. I was trying to figure out what text it will give you if you submit a good constellation, but I'm not adept enough to figure out where they have the file with the messages.

I was just curious if anyone was seeing the neopets space station in thier telescope. I don't know if its important but it runs across my map every 5 seconds or so in the upper left corner. Also I can't see points beyond 520 (-,+) in any direction and the ones I do see from 500 to 520 are barely in the scope and I can't get it to go any further over.

I noticed that the space station goes different directions, so that may be relevent- showing orientation of the constellations, perhaps.

Yesterday, some people started to compare there datas, including the statue they find their oil behind. I think that would be a good idea to continue, because not two people with the same statue have given their datas, so we cant compare anything. It would be great if we realise that there's not thousands of unique maps, but twelve of them, or anything of that kind.
And for the space station, I dont think it's anything revelent, I mean, we do see satellites in the sky and it have nothing to do with stars behind, it's just part of the scenery.
