BY the way....has anyone noticed that the only sun in Altador with 12 points, not 8 points, is the one in the hall of heroes? I've not seen all the stars....but all the others I've seen have 8 points. I even zoomed in on buildings/ships in the background....

News. Sorry if I didn't make that clear xD Just hoping that this new update in news will have brought new developements in the plot =)

...I'm beginning to think that TNT is just messing with us -_- keeping us hanging in there with a thread of hope that we the plot will have progressed. *sigh* lol xP

I am not getting my hopes up of a plot update until Friday. Why? Because a vast majority of people do not play neopets more than once a week and TNT wants to make sure everybody, in all time zones, gets a chance to be up to date. It was about that duration for the last plot and the plots before that for as long as I can recall.

Siyana's magic energyball thingies have 12 points, too.

I agree with stampsyne that we most likely wont get an update untill the weekend, maybe later on Thursday but not before then which is probably a good thing for me at least so I wont be spending all night trying to get something to work like last plot. I spent forever trying to get the the crystal to light up the room (and never managed it)

I was thinking the same thing over the weekend, Stamp. I was thinking along the same reasons you gave, plus the fact that this is a minor deal and not something we should stress about.

...But it is fun reading all the crazy theories everyone is coming up with. If only they we're the same ones since the first split. Sigh.

And the King who embodies good is across from the darkest faerie. Yet the other two faeries are not across from each other. Psellia is in the correct spot (if we're playing the mirror game) but Siyana is just one off, making the thief the opposite of Psellia.

And it may look like a sundial because of the big off-colored blobby shapes all over the floor, esspecially the big one stretching from in front of the sleep, going between the King and Jerdana, pointing to the janitor.

Unless we assume that TNT knows absolutely squat about sundials and didn't even bother to do any research on sundials, we can pretty much rule out the statues being part of a sundial.

The numbers on the face of a sundial are not laid out in a circular pattern like a clock; they are in a broken circle or a semi-circle.

Been a member (please note the absence of the word 'active') of neopets for about 5 years but yes this is my first plot. Horrid of me I know.

Either way I just thought of something (this might have been mentioned before or in fact it might just be my overactive imagination at work), the constellations above the heroes seem to be constellations of the heroes themselves (in the same way that scorpio resembles an actual scorpion.)

I haven't been able to fully test my theory (I'm at work and I don't have access to my precious Photoshop and its half transparent layers. I've only been able to put the two pictures next to each other in paint and they seem to match up somewhat.) Even if my theory is correct...I can't honestly see how that helps.

If Neopets -have- in fact already updated the plot...they've been horribly sneaky about it, and I have absolutely no idea in what way they've updated.

***On an off topic note*** Isn't it amazing how this plot seems to bring us inactivies out of the woodwork .

Edit: Oh yes... as for the sundial theory, well I somehow doubt they brought time into play if they did I hardly think they would've allowed it for it to always be night in the observeratory and as far as I've seen, always day in the hall. {Amazing the time of day changes from room to room, I want a house like that.}

Also (I might be speaking out of ignorance here but) shouldn't a sundial have a center piece that actually casts a shadow?

There have been a couple attempts at overlaying the constellations with their respective statutes.

So nothing new well thats not very nice of them...*sits pouting*

Someone on the neoboards was saying that the light in the room is getting brighter and once it hits the crack on the wall or the panel or whatever that brown thing is, then something will happen. I went there just now but I can't really see that the light is any stronger or brighter or anything, but I will be watching to see if I notice anything.

They are also saying that the statues appear to be cracking more. I don't know, it seems as if they were already cracked. I'll have to keep an eye out. But on the main screen I do think the sunlight has moved. The rays are now on the boats in the water. Was it always like that or did it move? I can't remember. Maybe it will grow to reach the hall.

Has the light in the astronomy room grown any brighter or moved? There are lines along the top of the wall so see if you notice if the light is moving, increasing or shrinking slowly over time.

I hope they update the plot soon... About the sundial's center piece thing, we may need to find it later in the plot. Everything's possible

I also noticed you can click on the stairs in the hall of heros or you can click on the one statue of the collector skeith in front of the stairs and then when you get a closer look at the statue you can click on the stairs on his screen too. I guess they did it like that in case you didn't see them on the main screen.
