I actually find it sad that I knew the answer to your question. Has anyone confirmed that we need to read 24 scrolls for the third crystal? Not much talk about the third one.

anyone know if we dont get the message after reading our 2nd set of scrolls (the primary set) if we dont get the message telling us what room the thirs one is in, do we have to start all over again??????

Never mind - answered my own question - i went back and re-read the set again - and it gave me the room i needed so i didnt have to start all over again

Crystal #3 <--that's where I'm at

I just tried working the way the 2nd crystal went. My last symbol on the tablet is O KAR, so I went to the Y KAR + R KAR + O KAR and nothing happened.

But I have to leave so I'll try experimenting more later. Hopefully someone figures out the sequence before I get back

Four hours and THIRTEEN trips to the basement later, I finally have my third crystal. While I was wandering around going blind, I was thinking of ways to celebrate when this plot's over--one which included burning this wretched repository to the ground but then again I'm not sure how well sand would burn.

On a more sane note...

Since the third color set is exactly the same as the second, the method of solving it should be pretty similar as the previous one. Someone mentioned earlier that maybe we should do it in reverse which would make sense. The third clear layer may have mirror-like properties. Testing four hour long theories will not be a pleasant task. Boo.

my problem is, i gotta find a blob room.... my lights on at 10pm my time in about 2 hours.... hope i get it before then, because im not staying up to 6am again to get the stupid light.. I wish I would have known what I was getting into before I started the plot, because I would never have even bothered, honestly, its boring me, i bores me navigating the repository, the tediousness of it bores me... the whole thing bores me... But I cant stop now because I have so much time invested in it and if i quit now, id get nothing for my time.... it just makes me wonder if what we will get will even be worth the time.. i mean hours to map the temple.... hours to find scrolls... hours waiting... hours searching.. its more like a full time job without pay than a fun game im playing online.... yeah, sorry to complain so much.... its just frustrating....

Ugh... I'm still trying to find a spike door! I'm now writing down the color and shape of the door I go through and am going to see if there is any pattern to it (there should be). Hopefully I can find my 2nd mirror, get light, read the scrolls, and get my 3rd mirror before you guys get TOO far ahead of me. Thank heavens I have the weekend free!

wow did getting that third crystal take forever.

Yes, it takes 24 scrolls (2 primary scrolls, 1 secondary scroll, done 8 times).

I got my light this hours, perfect timing!, but just like everybody else, there's no change in my lights.

I'm really hoping the next part involves fewer scrolls, cause if the number keeps increasing, it'll be totally ungodly this time.

maybe instead of having to read another 24 scrolls you'l only have to read the blended scrolls...orange purple green...because by the second crystal we figure out where those ones are and if the 3rd crystal is the same lights again maybe we just have to re-read those 8 blended color scrolls...

~Edit~ I am guessing the all time question of this though is....did anyone mark what section and rack their blended scroll is in for those that have the 3rd crystal?

heh. after getting the third crystal,
... what if we have to now un-ignore the ones that came out the same in the first and second sequence, and now replace those with white scrolls like some people have been dying to do?

I wandered over to the Neoboards just to see what's up there (and maybe for a laugh or two). Someone's claiming to have received the fourth crystal by reading their blank spots. They read the three primary colors for the symbol and say they got a scroll's location where they read a white one.

I know the Neoboards can get crazy sometimes but maybe this is worth trying. Kinda makes sense and at least it's fewer scrolls.

just three more scrolls. then a blob of jelly. then you can shower. then you can eat lunch (at 6pm. oops...) and then go play with the model of a city and some pretty little lights...
and then run errands. if the store hasn't closed yet...
