Well, the symbol was a constant before the tablet was finished, at least ... even after understanding.

I'll do some Egyptian research .... perhaps I'll try vertically first.

I thought the statue's symbol related to the one over the door where she is located.

If my last piece is an Ank (Life) it'd sound like a pretty good prophecy.

That is not good! That is scary! Although if 'moral man' could translate to a player and not a plot character, would that mean our acct would never get frozen?

Edit: to XenaAndGabrielle: from what i know, it if both top to bottom like on tomb walls and L to R like on the Rosetta stone

. . . so I guess I won't be able to rush right out and talk to her, But I am very good at that game. So if enough people think it is worth a try then I can bear through the whole first chapter in record time. . . but only if need be

I highly doubt they'd do that. They've already done something almost exactly like that with an earlier plot. They aren't known to reuse things for their plots (with the exception of Hubert's Hotdog Stand).

Um, they just reused Fetch . . .

I can ee them reusing about anything. Even the parrot. They reused the beach a ton too.

The Mystery Island Mystic "You will suddenly decide to sing a song backwards. " ot tnaw t'nod I yaw on [joking] It would never be the mystic because his message is different for everybody, right?

I WISH one clue would have involved challenging a regular in BD. Like getting that Lupe avvie.

Did Cranberry say that the symbol on her faerie statue was *not* on her tablet at all?

Nope, right to left. I learned that from Diane Duane's The Book of Night with Moon :P . Such a great book... it ranks right up there with Garth Nix's Sabriel, Lirael, and Abhorsen trilogy.

Cran did say something like that. I thought the wierd writing above the symbol was what was meant.

Well, if it is right to left ... is it also bottom to top or top to bottom?

I just found this online.
Scholars discovered that hieroglyphs can be written from right to left or left to right! The direction that animal hieroglyphs face gives us a clue! If the animal faces right, we read them right to left. If the animal faces left, we read left to right.
