ok, so i've been mapping and when I get so far I go through a door and its a room I had before. is this a completely new room or has it taken me back to the previous room? did that make sense?

In each room there is one door that takes you back to the room you came from. For some rooms there are 2 doors that lead into it, meaning that (I think) there are 2 doors that lead you back to those rooms. Dunno if that helps.

There is only one of each color/shape/symbol door combination. Some doors lead you to other rooms, sometimes near, sometimes further. You seem to be mapping correctly, just the doors go to and fro.

There is only one of each color/shape/symbol door combination. Some doors lead you to other rooms, sometimes near, sometimes further. You seem to be mapping correctly, just the doors go to and fro.

Thanks...once I make a map I'll need a translator to understand it!

Then a trap door opens under your feet and you find yourselves thrown out of the temple onto the desert sands.

Before I visited the statue is was just "reads the scroll". Wonder if it means anything special.

Ditto on that... I read the scroll with the same symbol as the room/statue, and got that message. I wonder...

Excellent, if we are ever going to figure out what does work we will need to know what doesn't.

Yet another wild theory of mine: is it possible that you have to tell the staute the symbols on your tablet in order?
This would make the answer:
1. different for everyone
2. nearly impossible to give if you don't have a (nearly) full tablet
Whaddya think?

This theory is a fine one, and something I had alrady been pondering.

My thought was that you get table pieces(from some not yet released source) and fit them into you Tablet, but before you can read the table(or possibly before you can fit a piece into your tablet) you will need to read the library scroll that corrospends to the symbols

i wonder what one means when one says 'sets' ..does it mean 83 different rows of rooms ??

Yup I refer to a group of 5 "rooms" to being a "set".. since I am not sure what to call those doors/hallways/corridors/huhwhatnot.

Did anything happen to your tablet after that message? What about the spinning scroll in the fortune teller .swf?

I think it's very likely that even if you guessed the correct prophecy, nothing would happen unless you'd actually completed your tablet. TNT seems to want to keep us from using shortcuts on this one (they've never before made the puzzle different for everyone), and I'm sure they don't want someone stumbling on the prophecy and getting way ahead of everyone else without doing the legwork.

I've read two scrolls so far. I will probably map my tomb tonight... I know I'm just going to get confused, though.

in each room there is a door that takes you back to the previous one, so if there is only 1 door in a room it goes back to the previous one. There are some rooms thought that link back to other rooms. I've mapped out at least 3 rooms of mine that link to other rooms.


My way of mapping is going to take forever but you can view what i've done here.

I tend to agree with the latest thinking, heres what I belive.

Current for everyone there is ONE door that leads to the statue. After going to the statue, they then need to go back to the libray and read the proper scroll and you understand it. Then id go BACK to the statue a second time and see what happens OR theres another statue door that you can now acess.

One thing I noticed, and it held throughout the entire 3 groups of threads I've read here is that every person that got to a faerie statue had the symbol from that statue on their tablet. Not sure what that means, but if it were random, with 12 symbols and 4 pieces per tablet at least 1/3 of people would NOT have that be the case.

maybe you need to find a scroll (RE) and then read that same scroll in the library to make progress on your tablet?

Do we have a record anywhere of which scrolls are in which library?

I was cool and used Dreamweaver to make a "clickable" map of mine using anchor names.

Ok, I finally found Nuria. The symbol on the door was different to the symbol on her statue. I have come to the conclusion that maybe I need to 'keep' reading the scroll with the symbol from the statue and maybe I will achieve something? Or maybe I need to read the scroll with the symbol from the door, then the one from her statue
