I started training my pet to 125 s/d boosts to prepare for this war. Those codestones got expensive! What did I get? 30 points.

So that means I can choose from the following to "buy"

Oh wait, I could get a banner, the sidebar (that I'd never use), and 6 keyrings. Or 2 or 3 t-shirts, or a t-shirt, the sidebar and 9 keyrings.

I spent just about all my np to be put in rank 2 for this? I know, the war prizes are just about never great, but rank 1 (sorry for anyone rank 1 who does train/just starting out -- I'm talking about the lazy people who don't train/buy weapons) can get things like neggs, etc.?

As Cranberry wisely noted ... "What a joke." I don't think I'll be participating in the next war if this is the new "fair" system.

This whole system is really, REALLY messed up. Quite simply, I'm tempted to quit neo all over again.

Why is there a big gap between 95-863 in the Warrior prize section? It's annoying.

I just bought a bunch of Garin neggs and sold them.

I should have signed up my weak pet in the war, so that I would be at rank 1, and possibly getting thousands of points enough for the weapons. A measly 121 points at rank 2 for a 200-str-boost pet, 260 HP.

I actually really liked this war. I'm neutral on the whole rank thing, I just think it was an awesome plot with good characters and awesome opponents. In my opinion, it's the best war yet.

Pardon my French folks, but what the HELL is this?!
My trophy, I was Rank 2. With 4 war points.

So basically what Neopets did to me was for every darned quest i turned down I managed to move up a rank?!
You know, the irony of this is, had they not made the quests every 12 hours, I would have probably been Rank 3 at least. OR Rank 4 >>;

War prizes...ech. Let's not go into my opinion of "Hey The Elites won, let's not complain any. They always smeggin' get the BEST STUFF!" because we'll be here all night

I AM annoyed. No actually, I'm seriously PO'ed.
The only DECENT war prize was the Sidebar - at least it wasn't rapid inflation of some Maraquan Weapon only those with millions of NP were going to get. Now, for the rest...
Now, I don't know if it was plain bad luck, the server selecting us out of millions of others, or just TNT's way of being complete ********, but those quests drove inflation beyond normal levels of inflation. A 2k book going for close to 180k on Auctions/Trades. Seriously, I mean what the hell?

And the inevitable "perfectly trained warriors" needing Codestones, Dubloons & Faeries.
Who's smeggin' idea to CURB the rising inflation was that? Seriously.

I DON'T have a good battledome pet.
In fact, I need to spend close to 800k to get him to be a -great- Battledome Pet. I have to spend a further 5 million NP getting him to be the pet I want. AND a further 1.4 million NP for the smeggin' paintbrush to paint him.
What I didn't need to do was spend close to 390k on this smeggin' war for four bloody points. BUT I still did so, because I thought they'd be nicer than that to those who otherwise were unable to get points due to a completely shoddy system which outranked the beautiful and well-thought out characters PLUS the lame-ass ending of the war (who the heck saw Scarblade running with his lupe tail between his legs even before the war was into its middle? *raises hand*)

"HAHAHA! YER FUN~NY! ~ spoken in an Dohring-type voice.

Put truthfully, if they spent more time mingling with the players and learning what we'd like to see - in that sense, the players who are otherwise non-chatspeak users, have perfect grasp of whatever language they normally use and actually have a shred of common sense - maybe this wouldn't be the complete alphabetti spaghetti soup that it's become?

But then again, I'm groping at straws to understand how the Hell I'm Rank Two instead of Rank One...

eh, I was happy that i got 110 points from the suporter side, and quite happy that the sidebar was only 1 point, i got a Garin Negg, A banner, and like 9 keychains lol

if I had only had 111 points I would have finshed off with the t-shirt but oh well...

I liked the suporter idea, next time I just hope they do more games...

I'm a Cutthroat with 584 points and the plain skull trophy. (As opposed to the trophy that's just a skull.) This entire time I was aiming for either the ship trophy (first choice) or the two crossed swords (second choice)... so I get the trophy in between them. (Actually, that's my least favorite trophy, to boot.) Apparently I both went way too far and not far enough!

I was also hoping to buy a marafin when this was all over (as a pirate warrior I wasn't going to get it as a prize, alas) but since they're the top level of Supporters prizes, their resell prices are bound to be astronomical.
I also rather like the Skull Motif Stained Glass Window, so I hope I don't regret not getting one for 99k when I had the chance.

Oh well, at least I got a toy ship out of all of this... and some of these prizes should eventually qualify to be on my Packrat 100 np or less list.

I'm interested in all the different titles that everyone could get too. Being a Cutthroat is way better than being a Peasant like in my first war.

I personally like how we get to choose our own prizes, and get to have more than one. I only wish they had more options with less gaps between and that I could have gotten something for the battledome. There were a lot more weapons they could have let us get. A good example is the Pirate Scout's hook, it only did a couple of icons, but now it will never be used again, It'll just sit in the battledome server, not being used by anyone. Unless they delete it, which would mean they've wasted their time drawing it and putting it into the battledome.

Can you tell I wanted a battledome item? Have I said that already?

I suppose I shouldn't complain, I've already sold all of my prizes (I did well, being rank 1) for nearly 100K, so I'm happy, I guess.

The fact that I get NOTHING really, REALLY ticks me off. I realize it's true that I didn't get any points and probably don't have much of a reason to complain, but it still smurf me off, especially when you look at why I didn't get anything.

Not only that, but I;m really smurfed (still), because I dished out nearly 200k of my PB fund on quest items, only to find that the last item turned out to be UB. Then I couldn't resell the first two items, (not for lack of trying!) and ended up donating them.

So....explain to me why it's fair that I get nothing? 'Cause I seem to be missing the logic there.

The Neggs do diddily squat from all I've heard. I'm hoping they inflate or something in the next couple of years.
