Eek, you can't do that. From what I've read you must not have another person's main account as your alias - no game playing or anything like that is allowed on the alias, it's meant only for a side account.
That's what the premium folks told me on the premium neoboard anyway, if that isn't the case then please set me straight =)
It seems logical that you wouldn't be able to play games on the other one. Afterall, if it is an alias then theoretically it is another of your accounts and the appearance of neopoints being made on both of them would be that it looks like you're using additional accounts to earn neopoints - not good.

Hmmm, a few premium people I know did set up a sibling, husband, wife, etc. as their alias. I believe anyone who did this did call tech support and did write to Support just to make sure it was ok and to be very clear that these were, in fact, separate accounts. After they got emails back from Support and got the ok they did set those up.
Maybe they changed it so you could only alias yourself, though. I don't know to be honest. In a way I guess it would make sense?

The premium prizes should be given out soon - most people have completed their trial period now Also, those referred before the 7th of June can now refer people themselves.
So if there is anyone who missed out last time around who would like to sign up to premium and stay premium (ie not just for the free trial) then please pm me here with your neopets account name and I'll refer you Once I've referred 5 people who have signed up then I can refer people who aren't sure if they want to stay or not.
And yes I get the prizes too if I get 5 referrals successfuly, and there's every reason to think that people referred now will probably be able to refer others in a short time as well (note it doesn't say that anywhere but I don't see why not).

Trick, I don't think people from the first referrals have gotten anything, those trials should not be up yet. I know one person who got the first referral prize, but most of us think that was a glitch.
Yes, new people who signed up during the first (just last week!) referrals can now refer. You have to stay and the person referred has to stay for you to get anything.
Right now, I still have 2 referrals and I'm holding onto them. Things are just out of control at the moment and I wouldn't want to refer anyone, have them sign up, go to the premium board and be like

Too many people with too many referrals, too many people are not being in the least thoughtful or careful about who they're referring. They're just going to all the boards posting they have referrals. The begging, spam and scams are increasing at an almost alarming rate. The welcoming older people aren't so welcoming right now, which is a shame, as most of the people signing up are wonderful. There's always some, though, that will take advantage of the 15 day free trial to make everyone elses' life miserable.

Oops, my bad
I just assumed that because I could now refer that my trial time must be up - time is meaningless in the summer holidays, hehe.
I'm refraining from asking people on the neoboards as I'd really like the referrals to go to people who have been wanting premium (and not just for my prizes, heh). It's just more fair that way I think, and I doubt there's a time limit after all
Of course because of the neopets addict that I am that means my referrals are open to NC people, neoitems people and all you lovely ppt people.

As for the webmail SSH's, most people say it's down to how often you use your portal and webmail as opposed to pageviews on the normal site. But I only use my portal when I fire up neopets (so maybe 3 or 4 times a day) and I'm averaging 1 every 1-2 days.

I also have my 10 referrals. The boards, AC in particular, are going nuts over all of this, so I doubt I'll be posting there anytime soon. I do wish they'd just give you the avatar for paying instead of having to get so many people to sign up, but oh well. Hopefully, I can get some referrals to stay.
