Allright. Listen up.
Everyone needs to realise that if you post a image thats over 500 pixels, you'll stretch the page.
There is a warning at the begining of this thread to take into consideration the fact that big images stretch screens. And frankly, no ones really listening to it.
Either crop or shrink or link your images. It doesn't take too much effort to do any of those three.
Consider this a warning.
That's not necessarily true. Not everyone's monitor is at the same resolution yours is at. I personally rarely see stretched pages. In order to be fair to us, you need to make an announcement in the first post that images are not to be over 500 pixels wide. Now, of course, there are sometime when images are so insanely huge that it'd be stupid of the person not to resize them, I can see why that would be an issue. However, like I said, what doesn't stretch the page for one person may stretch the page immensely for another person.
So please just say something about the dimensions in the first post, and then I think things will become easier.
The dimensions have been posted in other threads, not this topic, but it was posted today. There have been warnings in this thread before, and since many of the posters here are repeat posters, i'd like to think that people just 'forgot' rather then 'ignored'.
In order to be fair to me, theres a WARNING posted in the begining of the topic that states "Make sure not to stretch the forum, too." Which is really ironic, since the front page is very very stretched at the moment.
If people post, i'd like to think that they check their posts over afterwards, so that they can hopefully correct problems with page stretching. Although I understand that screen resolutions differ people should still understand that large images will stretch the screens of other. It's courtesy.
If you wish to continue this conversation, feel free to PM me, so we don't continue to comandeer the thread.
Evisceration is a sign of respect.
