There is a warning at the begining of this thread to take into consideration the fact that big images stretch screens. And frankly, no ones really listening to it.
Either crop or shrink or link your images. It doesn't take too much effort to do any of those three.

That's not necessarily true. Not everyone's monitor is at the same resolution yours is at. I personally rarely see stretched pages. In order to be fair to us, you need to make an announcement in the first post that images are not to be over 500 pixels wide. Now, of course, there are sometime when images are so insanely huge that it'd be stupid of the person not to resize them, I can see why that would be an issue. However, like I said, what doesn't stretch the page for one person may stretch the page immensely for another person.
So please just say something about the dimensions in the first post, and then I think things will become easier.
