We have lab only colors... mayby you could make lab-only pets? That would be fun. But I dont care HOW you get the pets... as long as I can have some way of turning Dexter_31415 into the donkey kong/bowser guy I'll be as happy as Adam with asparagus.

I wonder what makes someone "loyal"? Good time base isn't the factor, peopel would just get some old account to get the pet or something.

That is assuring.... although I've been assuming it might have been connected to whatever the Neopets mobile service was going to be.

Although I still wish some of them were petpets rather than regular pets.

I also think some of them would work really well as petpets -- Donna, is that a possibility? Like people have mentioned before, that would allow anyone who loves them to buy as many as they can afford for a gallery or whatever. And then people would be less upset if one of their favorites didn't get turned into an actual Neopet, because they could still own it.

...basically, all of the shorter/fatter ones that wouldn't lose their detail when resized, and the ones that look smart, but not smart enough to be a real pet.

I don't think that would be a good petpet, as it looks like a revamp of the Deaver.

I want all those ones The llama doesn't work too well as a petpet but it would with a bit of tweaking, and there's already a spider petpet with the spyder (not that I'd mind another one though, hee).

The Shellow, Dimber and Wazziup would make good petpets too, along with the adorable paranoid Meechee:



Edit: Actually aside from the ones that are chosen for pets, I'd like to see ALL of them released as petpets - there's only 50 after all =) - but on one condition....most need to be under 100k and none can be over 200k. Or else *shakes fist*

I personally think the Euvet would make a nice pet. I'd like to see a mouse-esque Neopet on the site. I've always liked that "Mouse" species on the Bad Pets page.

OK, some of my petpets told me that they resent that remark! What I mean to say is that some of them feel much smarter than the pets to which they are attached!

But, all kidding aside, I really, really think all 50 of them would make great petpets. And, honestly, anyone who thinks so much detail is going to be lost will just have to break down and get a magnifying glass. I really don't care if a bit of detail is lost if it means the chance to actually own those guys--rather than be teased one day of the year about the ability to have one or more of them.

And, they could be a set. Collect all 50 April Fool's Petpets!!!!! A McDonald's promotion, perhaps?

Yeah, I agree -- it does look like it should be bigger. I don't think it works as an actual Neopet, though. It's something about the tiny legs, I think. The rest all look pretty good, though -- the short fat ones (like the little orange dragon thing) especially.

Unfortunetly, even though I love kougras to death, if the Varvolf became a neopet, I would chanve all four of my kougras to Varvolfs in a second.

Varvolfs are just awesome. Vampire/werewolf/cybunny/lupe/kougra all mixxed together.
