Like others have said, I'm not too impressed with Garin.
After Isca explains she would be in trouble if the Maraquans see him, what does he do? Go outside and steal something. Nice. Not to mention he can't fight without whining to Jaques. Now that's a leading character.
I hope Caylis shows up soon...

I believe TNT made Garin such a shallow character for a reason: so he can develop. He can't really get any lower. =/

Isca is going to get into BIG trouble if the maraquans find out she brought a surface dweller back and a PIRATE at that. Doesn't Isca have a brain? A PIRATE stole and rob.... Plus, tHey are where they are now because of a pirate's curse.
And she actually brought him home, a great way to be exposed......

Yeah, I must admit I was unimpressed with Garin - that's so rude! She let him stay in her (really well-drawn, btw) house, and he just abused it by not only going outside, but stealing something and hiding it in her home!!

Ahem... May I just put some science into the plot (specifically maratite)...
The description for maractite weapons such as the maractite sword indicate that maractite is a metal that can cut through water like air. Infact this is not true as all metals can cut through water as if it were air.
Other metals can also do this because air and water are both compounds which one is denser then the other, it just depends on the surface area that is cutting through water.
So an iron sword can cut through water as if it was air if its sharp edge was cutting.
On the other hand, gun technology exists in neopia rendering maractite useless and to be replaced by.... Torpedos and plasma guns and lightsabers. If theres gonna be a sea battle, I'd like to see it like the Star Wars one on Cartoon network! May the force be with you!

I LOVED the Brucey B plot.
But I am absoultely loving this plot (I know that sounds all suck-uppy, but it's true... 5 pages per day is quite awesome and I'm so glad the dialogue isn't as cheesy as the Hannah plot... Gah!)

im waiting for a plot that doesnt directly affect a few people...... not the brucey B plot.... not the Garin and Isca plot... the hannah plot.... i suppose the meridell ones were a liiiiiiiiiiiiiiitle broader, but im waiting for a bigger plot to happen thats not based alone on a few charactors.... and id also like to see some old charactors come back instead of getting a new batch of people ive never heard of before every time!!

Yeah i agree... I got an idea how abt this:
Dr Sloth created an army of Mutant Sketch Grundos. They go on a rampage and recruit the like of Dark Faerie and all the baddies of the past like spider grundo n jelly chia..etc
Neopia is under seige and needs help. All users help out along with faeries and hannah and brucey b and stuff.
It was be figgin awesome!

This is definetely better organized than the Hannah plot, I'm pleased that we're getting chapters that are longer than one page. But are we supposed to look at Garin as the hero here? I mean c'mon, the only reason his boat got hijacked is because he robbed some neopets, it's his own fault. I hope he gets kicked out and drowned
