Somehow, I don't think Doug Dohring is solely to blame. Obviously, NP is a huge corporation now and there will be a hierarchy of staff. Dohring's at the top so probably doens't actually control the ads, he just agrees to the ideas his staff puts forward. Unfortunately, Dohring is the only face to a name we have.

It's just getting too big a company for one person to control. I'm not surprised that Neopets is going downhill lately, it's just getting far too big.

I (and many others) have said it before, and I'll say it again.

Neo need to take a few days off to sort out everything on the site.

Well, put it this way - Would you rather have a mostly-functional/fully functional site after a few days, or a glitchy site with many unfinished things?

Heh, I've done the thing where I set aside a whole day (or two) to catch up on everything I'm behind on at work, and it never, ever pans out. It's like Murphy's Law of work that whenever you do that, seventeen different things which absolutely must be dealt with immediately will pop up. Perhaps if you're very, very organized and focused you could pull it off, but if TNT had that going for them, they wouldn't be behind in the first place! :P

Me in a dress - that's a once in a lifetime opportunity

Most of what TNT does is ongoing, and distributed among departments, such as the graphics department, plot department and such, so closing the site for a few days won't help matters much. The only things off their workload will be the regular things like Lenny Conundrums, Mystery Pics, and they will still have to do them after the site is reopened.

In all honesty, I forgot about the logic puzzle until you posted this. It's a shame they canceled it...a lot of people were looking forward to it and were planning to put a lot of effort into it; I believe people made charts and such to help them. If TNT places something on the site, they should follow through with it instead of disappointing so many members. It really couldn't have been that much trouble to update the puzzle, because I'm sure they already had everything written out and planned. All they would have had to do is a quick update. I hope they learn from this and follow through in future events.

Much thanks to Scholastic for the set! And Pimboli for the button! ^-^
