Well, i don't remember what was in my inventory, I deposit it alot.

I think I might've done something between everything in terror mountain...I had TWO neopets screens open(One for Rsing, other for Sidebar Issues)

Considering how fast you all have worked out even the most complicated avatar unlocks, I'd be willing to bet that the unlock is either fiendishly hard (random event in Happy Valley after winning a HaTIC trophy if your active pet is painted snow and has a snowickle attached and there's a Thyora's Tear in your inventory) or not actually released yet.

First one to try that gets a dollar!

The only problem with it not being released is the fact that TNT said it would only be available today...

If a groundhog sees its shadow today it means 6 more weeks of winter. Has anyone tried taking a groundhog like item(Symol... Polarchuck...) and taking it to say the lost desert so it can see its shadow and give you "6 more weeks of wintery sidebar?"

I keep hearing people saying that, but I cannot seem to see where it says that in the news paragraph. If someone could just point where in the news paragraph it says that you can only unlock it today that would be great.

Wow, that's extremely clever. And I totally forgot today was Groundhog's Day. Maybe something to do with the Symol Hole?

I believe that's been tried, but go for it again, who knows, it might work this time!

Edit: Good point about the side bar needing to be unlocked imediately. I think that was started based on the Halloween sidebar being only unlocked on Halloween.

I set my pet with a Symol on it as my active pet and went to the lost desert, no random event. Went to Lost Desert weather, no random event. Terror Mountain weather, no random event. All the areas of Terror Mountain, no event. Went in the symol hole doing a cannonball, no event.

Yar.

I swear on my life that this is real, i didnt do anything but crop it in MS paint, so its small and will load faster for those with ancient computeres

Well ... I finally got past level 10 of snow wars. I did not get the new sidebar as a result of finishing. (I got lucky in beating him ... since the first 2 things I uncovered were the single snowmen!) (see post under screenies if I ever figure out how to post it)

Oh well ... back to random randomness.
