I guess it looks quite nice ... but the name is dumb. DUMB, I tell you.

Friend: So, what neopets do you own?
Me: Well ... I have an ixi, a cybunny, a shoyru, and a mok!
Friend: A shoyru and a what?
Me: I said a Mok.
Friend: Huh, sorry?
Me: MOK, I said!
Friend: ...?
Me: M - O - K. Mok.
Friend: A what? *starts laughing* A MOK?!

MOK. MOK. MOKMOKMOK. If you say it repeatedly as fast as you can, it sounds like "Pukpukpukpukpuk..."

Atleast the name is better than Ashlee Simpson. :)

*looks at Fool Hi's Bori gone Mok* MY EYES! They...BURN! * The goggles did nothing!

On a side note...Mazil, yes, they have a hugh rib cage...the emotion and circle poses make it pretty noticable, IMO. It's body is totally out of proportions cause of that. Skinny stomach, large ribcage, thcik neck, larger head to rest of body. Tch...yet, I still like it. o_O
It's angry pose is the best of the 4 new neopets, or has Yurble become non-new now?

*remembers mutated Bori image* Great, Bori just HAD to get multulated. If you wanna make the Bori Mok debate work...you gotta hand draw it...altering like that didn't work well.
The claws are gonna make people think bori, nothing else. Least Mok has the best fur pattern.

*thinks* Woah Deja Vu. o_O

EDIT: Floating annoys me cause it isn't maraquan, it's not living underwater, just floating. Plus, it doesn't get the bubble effect some Marquan pets get.

I think the Bori could resemble the Mok, but you'd have to apply quite a lot of changes for it to look exactly like it. Below is the result of my editing of a Bori to make it look like a Mok:

I'm wondering if the name came about because of the sound of an otter's bark.

Just a hypothetical.

Anyway, I'd want one if I were going to get a second pet. But then all of my attention wouldn't be lavished on Tuonos, and then where would we be?

How do we know it isn't maraquan,we got bori from the ice caves, why not mok from maraqua.Or,you can just hide under your little "not part of a plot" deal.

aww, I love the new pet, it's too cute! I am definately getting one on my secondary account (my main is full). I love the big claws and the way it looks like it's swimming like an otter, I love otters :D

The only resemblance I see between it and the Bori would stem from the claws. As for the "instructions" you gave, that's too extensive an alteration for me to really say there's a real resemblance aside from the claws.

I like it. I'm definetly morphing Samurai_Fuji into one. It's a blunt name, and it could ALMOST sound Japanese- Hey, that's an idea! Change the pet's name through changing site language.

That no longer looks like a Bori. It looks like a very fat Mok.

If you can find instructions between 2-3 steps to make the Mok look like the Bori or the Bori look like the Mok, I'll give in and say there is a definate resemblance to the two other than the claws.

I like the pet, although I'm not sure if I like it enough to get one. I guess I'll have to see what the colors end up looking like. :)

Wasn't Mok the planet Rasputin was from in Disney's Anistasia? IT'S A MARKETING PLOY! -screams and runs in circles-

Anyway, it looks sort of like an otter or a weasel or something...maybe I'll morph Pan into one...

I really like it. I don't get why people don't like the name. If its because it doesn't make any sense, neither does Bori, Ruki or Chia (granted the Chia is just a blob). If it's because it's short, it's just as short and mono-sylabble-ish as Koi.

And the claws are the only similarity.

If this pet is from Maraqua, which it could likely be, I'll probably get one on my 2nd account. I love otters! They are the best water-creature!

I though they were called Bori because they lived in ice caves... as in, they're borers or something.

This one's cute (and I think the floaty thing is kinds cool), but I'm glad I didn't wait for it before getting my last (eighth!) pet. I <3 my Bori.

The big-ribcage thing, though very pronounced in this case, is not new (look at the Gelert and to some extent, the Lupe)... it's an issue of some very strange forced perspective.
