Pumpkin carving contest. The unfairness.

Well now you should be happy. Because of your whining and moaning they changed the prizes and evened the contest so it's nearly like everyone won. When I entered it listed 1st prize as also getting a rare item. When I looked yesterday, they had added a 3rd place but listed a trophy for only 1st place. I'm so glad to see that 2nd and 3rd place do indeed get trophies after all! But the only thing I got out of getting 1st place was a gold trophy and 5k more np than 2nd place got. They thought it was hilarious to give me a Tongue Wrap as my prize -.- And they included a lovely ':P' in the neomail just to let me know how funny it was (it would've been funny to me if I they had originally listed a booby prize).

If I'd known they were going to switch the prize list so that everyone basically got the same thing I'd have not worked so hard on my pumpkin. Well at least we all know that for the next Random Contest it will be a waste of time and effort to try and do your best. Might as well spend very little time and effort because 'everyone is a winner'.

I'm not bitter, I'm not greedy, but it does irk me to know that I put in my hard work and creative effort with a goal of getting one prize, and then they changed it all so nobody would cry. Whoopee! Next time you can turn in junk and get virtually the same prize as everyone else, then you won't have to whine and moan about anything.

I understand how you could be slightly angry however there were many good pumpkins entered that should've been in. You should be proud that you were first place and got Neopoints, an Avatar and a random item.

However, if you feel a little 'erked' because other people won is a little selfish. Sure, whining and moaning was wrong but I believe some people did it because there were a lot of nicely carved pumpkins that didn't get accepted.

Yes, we know you worked but how about those people who didn't get into the competition? Don't they deserve something for their hard work?

Listen, I'm sorry you feel that this specific competition should be narrowed down as others are but I feel (As do others) that this Pumpkin Carving Contest had many entries -- most of which were worked very hard on-- and the fact that they choose 10 pumpkins out of 100 which were sent in and not give the other entries a complimentary prize for trying is a little unfair.

You got first place, you got money, you got a trophy and an avatar. What more do you want? A paint brush?

My thoughts are that TNT should look at each entry and see which ones are worth giving an item too. If it's an orange with two holes than obviously no item would go to them but if it's a masterpiece and they didn't get in, an item or avatar should be sent to them.

OR

They can give everyone who entired a complimentary prize that's worth around 100-500nps. That way, everyone is a winner.
