I think my new faster computer caused one of the Flash games to be tagged for me. For one score was sent in for review (a score in the mid 500 point range for Defender Trainer) yesterday evening/night neotime.

The account that was frozen was nascar__fan (this user name of mine contains 2 underscores)
Since I know I didn't cheat, I have absolutely no reason to give up on it.

I have filled out that form, in the meantime, I am creating a new account.

Thanks.

Well, with Morningstar's advice, I shot off my letter to the staff. Why wait for them to check me out before writing? Maybe I will get lucky and get unfrozen. I believe that I told the story thoroughly, politely, and with enough detail. I did something that I hadn't thought to do, I told them a lot of personal info about myself and how I play neopets.

Wish me LUCK!

I just recently learned the "Rules" for multi accounts and I plan to self freeze my other accounts so I wont get my main account frozen.

I hope you can get yourself unfrozen.

The other accounts I had earlier I have had them suppossedly deleted from the Neopets servers. I did that because it gave away too much o of my personal information (first and last name were too easy to figure. ).

I didn't transfer any money/items/pets from those accounts. I put the pets into the pound and donate all money and items to the money tree.

And that was over half a year ago.

good luck! :) and if you are polite, and included all that stuff, it sounds very in depth, hopefully they will get to read it properly too :) and playing patterns, thats a very interesting idea, after all, i'm sure they would have those sort of things tagged :)

nascarfan good luck getting unfrozen, its odd, you get frozen for killing your cpu, and for having a fast one :P fingers crossed :)

If you see my sanity, get it to give me a call.

Good luck with getting your account back. My first and only account was frozen for reasons I never discovered. For months I tried to get a response about what I had done or not done. But no joy in the end I just wrote it off and created a new account. Don't get too wound up in trying to get it back. For many people you will simply never discover why you were frozen no matter how polite and persistent you are.

An insightful letter with exact details sent last night has gotten me unfrozen today. Happy Dance! Thank you all for your concerns.

UPDATE: ALL the people so far who was frozen here have become unfrozen! ALL!

yay congratulations!! Thank goodness they saw sense in the end! :D

BTW did they give you a reason as to why you were frozen in the first place?

Multiple accounts

For those who are curious, I followed Morningstar's advice.

I provided my full name, address, and even phone number (asking them to call if they needed more details). I gave the information of the web cafe; physical addess, phone number, and webpage. I told how I play neopets, gaving details about my methods of making neopoints. A full description of how and why I would not risk my account just to make a few hundred by having multiples.

Most importantly, I was polite and apologized for anything that might have been wrong doing. I spell checked twice and sent it off.

But they haven't had that automatic form for 24 hours yet. In the real wold I work as a Demo Worker (giving away free food samples).

When ever it gets a bit on the slow side, I help out the Produce Department by cleaning out loose onion peels (a job no one can "truly" win at). If I get those fairly clean: I help with straightening the Banna Display area.

These 2 things are not in my job description, but two things I do to help out at the store where I work. If something needs to swept up, I'll sweep it up. If they needed an additional hand to get shopping carts back into the store, I would gladly help there.

I have my interent set up so each page (and each frame of a game is checked for any viruses as it loads).

At least once every 2 days: I run a through check for Spyware using Adaware SE Personal and Spybot S&D 1.3. I make sure they are updated. And at least once every 3 days, I will run a full virus scan with my anti-virus program. The computers ins public places around here don't have the current Flash or shockwave so the Flash/shockwave games can't be played on them.

Whenever I shut down my computer at night: I delete tempoary files (inclduing offline content, cookies, and interenet history). Then I set my firewall security to Tight.

Then last but not least I run WinUltra Cleaner 1 Click to get rid of all the other junk files my computer has found.

Recently, I had to get rid of a stubborn spyware program on my computer (required editing in a place where novice users should stay well away from) it was the DSO Exploit. Suppossedly that was no danger to my machine since I had SP2 installed on Windows XP.

But once I got rid of it, my computer was even slightly faster.

I do use a broandband (cable modem) to a regular computer. I use a mouse connect to a USB port (because it moves smoother especailly when using my less coordinated right hand (yes, I'm left handed, but I got used to using a mouse with my right hand before I found out it could be changed for use with the left hand). I am the only person to have used this computer since I've gotten it)

I used to have to have my lefthand on top of my right hand to keep the mouse moving in a fairly straight line. At least I can use my right hand alone on the mouse now (it never moves completely straight).

Times when I restarted a game to a low score was due to security software updates and telephone interruptions. I submitted no ansers for Mystery Picture and only once (before the change for the Lenny Conundrum but I didn't win..I had the wrong answer)

I use a slightly large font size to make it easier on my eyes fro reading text (myopia, crosseyed, and astigmatism: misshaped corneas).

At best my vision is 20/30 my highest score on Defender Trainer was not even higher enough for a trophy (662 points for this month).

If I added my on-hand neopoints to the bank it would be just under 1 million neopoints.
