If you abused the glitch, you broke the rules.
If you broke the rules, you get frozen.

From what I've observed about Neopets, they only freeze the users who blatantly abuse glitches, such as going to the Fruit Machine 100 times in 1 day instead of once. I think they give lattitude to those who use it twice, since many of those players may have forgotten whether they'd already done their "dailies" or not. I play a lot in the middle of the night, and often forget later in the day whether I've already visited the Tombola, Fruit Machine, etc.
The Tutenstein glitch was obvious to any player. It was only one question -- the same one for everybody. You had to know you were "getting away with something" if you were hitting the refresh button 300 times in a row....

Yeah, I agree, a lot of the people who purposily abuse those glitches, get frozen, and when they get frozen, they say 'What? I didn't do it on purpose' I mean give me a break already, you did it, and you knew what you were doing, and it serves you right! I am not directing this at anyone, I just mean in general, thats what people do. Its a sad...sad...world

There was a sidebar ad for the DiscoveryKids Tutenstein show. If you answered a question correctly about the use of an amulet, you earned 1000 NPs. There was only 1 question.... Then people found out that you could refresh the page over and over and over again, keep answering the same question, and keep getting NPs for it. People were bragging on the Neo Boards that they were getting hundred's of thousands of NPs; some even bragged of getting a million NPs during the hours the glitch went unfixed. Most users on the boards were gloating, saying that it was TNT's fault and that they couldn't be punished for it. Some of us were warning players not to take advantage of the glitch, only to be accused of being paranoid or party-poopers. *shakes head, tsk, tsk*
