Virtual, I'm in the same position - ever since my warning, I'm almost paranoid about what I post. Like, I wanted to suggest photobucket to someone looking for a good image host, but I'm almost afraid I'll get another warning for "outside link" or worse, since it would be my second warning for the same thing I'd be frozen.

I agree that there are plenty of places that shouldn't be posted, but I do think this whole thing has gone too far. We should be able to post a known, safe, trusted site.

I know. What annoys me is that they class saying the name of a site. Not nesisarrily advertising it as "posting an off-site url"

We should be able to post a site that they promote but we all know some of the mods mustn't really know what they're doing.

Secondly: I've gotten warnings for posting the words "Pink PT"... however I see a million people every day post "tineneohelp" and "soupfaerie" all over the boards. None of them get frozen... so it seems that TNT is a bit biased as to which off site URL's are okay and which aren't. I don't mind not being able to post PPT in the boards, I just wish they didn't show favortism.

Heh they blocked it when I mentioned ppt!
They must have favourite players or help sites. They're just going too far. I saw someone advertising a forum with very adult language on it and that account is allways on the neoboards.

I'm just going to only post about neopet stuff. If they ice me again I'm leaving my accounts open and giving my stuff to me mates. Probably just stay on to play games now and then. But they'll probably ice me for that. They did that to my friend. Saying he'd slowed down his computer. Do they assume all of us use the latest gear?

Neoboards=99.9% New Member=All lies 99.9% of the time. (The shop ad and auction place are usually not lies....usually....>_<)

Thanks, CrewWolf!

I went to the location and all it said was a limited number of trial openings are offered and to try again.

Does anyone know more about the service? What it will offer?

The Premium is an email - your addy would be @neomail.com, the portal, which is like a homepage (think yahoo, etc.), a (optional I think) toolbar - who needs another toolbar? and a dial-up ISP. Someone posted here (not sure which topic) that the ISP is down alot (now there's something novel...NOT), and it is only available to the US - which they don't tell you until after you've put all your personal and credit card information in to sign up. I have issues the the ISP's privacy terms...basically they can sell your information to third parties, which I just don't like.

If you're on high speed internet, I don't know that the Premium's worth it -- are you going to go back to dial up? I think people who use the premium get something like 1k np a month for using it and maybe some extra random events. There's an avatar for signing up - but it's the same Neomail one everyone can get. And that's about all I know :)
