On topic: Since there's no "written" rule against lending, I can't imagine they'd freeze someone. Although, I don't believe "giveaways" or "font contests" are techincally against policy, but I've seen people frozen for that, too.

It may have been a different board then. My point, though, is if he posted a Hilary Duff board in the Help Section, it really didn't belong there. It would be way off-topic. The Help boards are for users who need Neopets-related help. I know, I know.... LOTS of messages on the Help Board don't have anything to do with Neopets. This seems to be so much more common now that TNT has shut down the General Chat board. But technically speaking, it would be a violation of the Chat Regulations.

Grrr...this is my brother's third innocently-frozen account. I really think TNT should get more monitors for the boards, with so many wrong freezings about.

Johnny, the no lending/borrowing rule is another of the great "unwritten" rules that drive so many of us crazy. And yes, people have been frozen for lending, even more than borrowing.
As far as giveaways or "font" contests - that is clear in the rules - no contests of any kind including ftp, raffles, giveaways, etc. are allowed anywhere on the site - not on the boards, shops, guilds - nowhere.
from the T&C (in the list of #3):
3. All user content and communications on the Neopets site is filtered and monitored. So that everyone has a good time, you understand and agree that you will not post or send through the site any words, images or links containing or relating to:
promotions offering prizes of any sort (including contests, raffles, lotteries, chain letters or any kind of giveaway)

yeah, I had 18 trophies, 94 avatars (was soon gonna get slorg), over 7mil (but was hacked a lsot it all) and then i recovered and had 700k pure
