I personally find it offensive that people who voted for #2 were said to be pre-teen age girls who like pink and other cute things.... I voted for #2 because none of the rest looked right to me...We won, get over it.

Amen.

Although I did like number four alot...reminded me of "The Lion King".

Ugh...that's all I have to say...just ugh. I thought that maybe the contest would get me my old, non-cartoonish Kougra back, but I was wrong. So much for stopping at the nice, small improvements #1 would have made :( .

am i the only one who laughed hysterically when i saw that #2 won? it's even cutesier than the first revamp. everyone complained and complained about it--and got something cuter. hilarious!

i knew #2 was going to win, just for that reason.

I'm glad it was open for everyone, not just Kougra owners-- I don't like the idea of only Kougra owners being able to vote. Just because someone has a Kougra at the moment doesn't mean there aren't others who don't own them who like Kougras. I know that my favorite pets are Quiggles and Yurbles, and I don't own either one. Limiting it to Kougra owners is like saying that those people are the only ones who care about the Kougra.

Personally, I liked #1, #2, and #4, so I'm glad that one of them won. :)

So, from now I'm a 9 year old girl who wears only pink? Number 2 may have been the cutest one, but it was the one with the most action, the most lively. I think now that No. 2 is voted in, I'm going to create a Kougra.

I like the Yurbles, however, they've released sooo many plushies recently, that it's getting a bit excessive.

The furniture's cool as well. But t he creme de la creme are the petpets, despite their ultimate demand, I might have a go at RSing them.

UGH #2 WON.

Why does everyone complain about cutesy pets but then VOTE for them? They're making it worse than it already is.

Argh, I know. I wish they would've had the vote open for about a week rather than ONE day, so more people could get their opinions heard. I really wanted number 4 to win, but the majority picked to cutesy one. What's the point of having a vote and having the cutest one win if everyone has been complaining about the FIRST revamp being too cute?

^Yes, I know everyone else has already posted this, but I just wanted to get my share out. ;)

I'm happy with the new petpets, though. The gray one looks nice.

yeah, i did think the poll should have been up a bit longer. i bet there are a lot of people who only play neopets every few days who would have liked a say in the revamp, but missed it. :(

There were people complaining that the first revamp was too cute??? I find that hard to believe considering how outrageously ugly it was. That is why I complined about it. Kougra 2 will hopefully look better after it's been 'tweaked'...

I still think that all of the losers should be made into shopkeepers.

heh, i really liked the first revamp. much better than the winning kougra (although ultimately i don't mind #2, and anything's better than the original kougra), which is why i think it's funny that the "too-cute" complainers are now stuck with this kitten.

Well i have to say, some of the preteen girls that like pink (my sis and her friend, to be exact) were indeed obsessive. They voted on my account as well as theirs... :x I would've voted for #5 or whatever *shrug*

Regarding the voting, I really wanted #1 to win. :( And, #4 was cute, too.

But #2 is still better than the current version, if you ask me. And, eventually, we will all get used to it--look at the multitude of other things we have had to get used to.

However, that is not why I am writing. I am writing a protest (in case any of you Neopets staffers are lurking about)--they released 4 more plushies today!!!! That's 12 plushies in 4 days. I might be forced to give up my beautiful plushie gallery soon. There is just no way to catch up--or even break even--unless I happen to rob the National Neopian Bank.

They have released more plushies in the past year than they did in the previous 3-1/2 years. Wonder if their plan is to make them all into real life plushies sometime soon to sell at Limited Too--hoping to get a colletor craze going. *grumble* *grumble*

My favorite thing that came out of the news today was the dark faerie furniture! :D
