gak. i absolutely hate this pet. who's with me?

Mines on a testing phase. For some reason, it was far more appealing when I thought it would be limited edition.

However, it seems like most of Neopia is with you in not liking it, however, all the complaints I've heard have been something like "It should be more cute," or "It's a bug!!!!" or "It's ugly". Well, I don't think it's "ugly", but it's defiently not Shoyru-cute. It's not meant to be though, which is part of the cool factor. I'd really like to see some new paintbrush colors for it.

*raises hand* Me! I'm not fond of it either. XP

Here they are, telling us it's going to be totally different than any other pet, and not some cutesy thing, and this is what we get? BAH! Why didn't they pay attention to the poll?? A snake-type neopet would have been terrific, but no, we get a cuddly little mantis. What a let-down.

I think it's great, and I'm waitin for some non-fill in new colors so I can maybe use my RF quest on it.... But I need a Morphing potion to be released! I HATE having more than two pets besides my Adopt-and-lab pet.

The bear won on the poll. They released the Yurble, which is a bear pet. The poll served it's purpose. Just because the snake came in second doesn't mean they are going to limit themselves to following the order of the poll.

I kinda like it. I wish it was a Veespa though I can't even sell mine for 70k. I was really looking forward to making lots of money from them.

I can't wait to see what the Faerie version looks like. I think that might be really cool.

Well, they should. If they care about what their users want, anyway.

Lol. If they cared what their users wanted, they'd nix the card game and do the Kreludan plot. Remember when the site used to come first? Like it would have been so hard to throw something together.


Anyway, there are Ruki in the pound already. That doesn't make any sense. Why would they adopt them and ditch them right after they came out? Maybe some people thought they were limited edition and grabbed them up fast and ditched them when they found out otherwise? That's too bad for those poor newly created pets.

"They need to make more dragon pets!" (I'm not making this one up)

I'm of the opinion that if you can't/haven't complained about the Buzz, you can't complain about Rukies, which some of you may think is silly, but nobody has come up with a better arguement so far

yeah, seriously. if it took the whole frickin neopets team to work on the dumb card game, then they REALLY need to hire some more people.

The card game is what the plot was based on. Without it we probably wouldn't have a Kreludorean plot. Besides, you can't say that the cards aren't pretty awesome and interesting.

I think they still should do the plot, though. They aren't do a plot for the Mystery Island Expansion pack, so they have 2 months until the next one comes out to do the Kreludor plot.

As for the poll, they made the bear, which means they used the poll. That's what the point of the poll was. It wasn't "what order should we make the next pets in" it was "what should the next pet be".

sure i can say that the cards aren't awesome and interesting. in fact, i'll say it now.

the cards aren't awesome or interesting. more people play the site than the cards, but the cards make the $$$.

i just don't get how a whole office can get so caught up in the card game that they can't work on the plot. and i really don't get why they can't still do it.

The same I love it/I hate it went on when the yurble was released. personally? I don't like the yurble. But I actually DO like the ruki. Took a while of looking at it, then I saw it in yellow and said Yes! and created one.

The new plot is postponed, I agree I would rather see something on the site than something about those cards, but that's the way things go sometimes (remember neoschool?)
