I must say that was almost too easy, but they released the news at a very bad time for me as I was sleeping so I probably didn't submit it in time

It all depends on what Neopets puts into their little computer to scan all the answers for at the end. The most recent one like that would be the one from 2 conundrums before this one, I believe. The one about walking and stuff, the answer came out to be 250. They just put 250 in their computer and any answer that said "250" in it was selected. Although someone in the general board said that time that they didn't win because they put meters after it, the evidence points that perhaps they were mistaken about their statement. As a general rule you won't be penalized for putting units in your answer, so it's probably not a bad idea to throw them in there anyway.
