I've only received a potato sack so far. I think I've actually only seen batches of good items twice over two days. Most of the time, nothing is there

I got a spud sack too, missed a few puppets though.

I just got a: potato sack, wool cap and Groucho glasses. (Real name escape me...)

Even on the first day, I barely saw anything but when I do see something, it is only a potato sack about 65-70% of the time. People are donating nice things. If I had more drive, I would love to finally clothe all of my pets

I've been refreshing for the past 10 minutes...ok probably less but I've managed to snag: 5 potato sacks, 1 Usukicon Y9 Attendee Badge and 1 Lucky Red Pandaphant Doll.
I saw the icy background a couple of times but I just froze up in surprise before I could get it.
Edit: And may I say that the potato sack looks absolutely horrid on the Koi.

I'm still seeing (and getting) the "bot" items, but I think there's a finite amount of variety to them. It looks like they can drop anywhere between 1 and 5 at a time (I haven't seen more than 5). The prices on these particular items are dropping rather quickly, making me glad I've taken the time to sit and refresh (nearly constantly) until I've gotten the 10 max and then sold them. (Hey, I've gotta make up the NPs from buying a royal p/b *somehow*!)

Heh. Skynetmain, I saw a potato sack you donated last night while I was refreshing. That made me grin, recognizing a username.

I can definitely confirm that there's a max of 10, just like the money tree.
After testing, I've also discovered that this max of 10 is INCLUDING the items you get off the money tree. In other words, you can only get 10 free items (from either the second-hand shoppe or money tree) a day total.

Just wondering, does anyone know where all the potato sacks originly came from? Are they giving them out in newbie packs or something?

I believe they are in the new newbie packs, yes.

When you donate anything wearable, instead of going to the money tree, it goes to the shoppe. So, it's just your regular "donate" option.

Edit: hah, Daze beat me to answering that one!

It is like any of type of donation - click on an item and choose Donate or use Quick Stock and choose Donate. All wearables go to the 2nd hand shoppe.
