:( I don't get it... I've checked everything, redone the mirror step, and can't get the monster to trip over the chair. I have it at 255, 155. It is in a lighted area, and i have everything but the tripping and the look of the monster. I got it before, but there was no to be continued thing.

Second, if some people are still figuring the placement of some things you don't have to do them seperately; you can do it all at once. (i.e. you can find out who the monster is w/ the 4 actions without adding each step on, one at a time)

AND... thank you again to all of you guys. I can't wait for TNT to introduce new plot info!

I bet we'll have one of these little plot "segments" every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Each one will be used to introduce a new conversation in the plot, probably.

Neopedia : Eliv Thade

A long long time ago, in a castle that lay deep within the Haunted Woods, lived a Kacheek named Eliv Thade. A puzzle writer by profession, Thade prided himself on being able to instantly work out any puzzle that was brought before him. Visitors came from far and wide, eager to win fame for having finally stumped him, but without exception they all failed. It hardly required any effort for the clever Kacheek to dash the hopes of his challengers, solving their puzzles with ease before turning them away.

This went on for quite some time, until one day, one of Thade's servants in the castle gave him the longest, most complicated puzzle he had ever seen... and, to everyone's amazement, he could NOT work out the answer! For hours, days, and months, Thade kept trying to find a solution, but it was just no use. Each day, the servant would smile sweetly and ask Thade if he had succeeded in solving the puzzle, and each day Thade would storm off in a rage...

For years Thade agonised over the puzzle, spending every single waking moment poring over the books in his library. Somewhere, he thought to himself, it's just got to be in here somewhere! However, despite all the time and energy that he put into finding the answer, Thade's efforts proved to be in vain, as he was simply unable to find the correct solution. Eventually, Thade's obsession with solving the puzzle overwhelmed him, causing the troubled Kacheek's spiraling descent into madness.

It wasn't long before Thade's castle began falling into disrepair as his servants, who were scared for their own safety, moved as far away as they could. Many years later, Thade died alone, without ever finding the answer to his servant's puzzle. However, the spectre of Eliv Thade still roams the cold corridors of the castle, seeking to exact a terrible revenge from anyone who dares to enter....

And then....

In the game you control Gilly, a poor Usul who was lost in the woods and accidentally stumbled into the Castle of Eliv Thade seeking shelter. As you enter, the heavy iron door slams shut, and locks behind you. Uh oh.

Makes you wonder, if the game will play any roll in the plot....

If it's not working in one lighted room, try the other. I couldn't get the chair message in one of mine, but it worked immediately in the other.

For those who can't see the coordinates, here's a link to a previous thread with a picture:
Pic in first post

Keep in mind that people have gotten it to work without using the exact coordinates. Some people had to place their food in a different corner for it to work. Just keep wiggling things until it works. Good luck![/url]

PPT's coordinates are off and I suggest be updated,
It is all still but in a room with light
The food can be put anywhere in the room
the correct chair coordinate is 225, 155
all the other coordinates are fine though

I didnt use the coordinates during my placement, but still got the proper message and everything. I didnt even pay attention to how they worked, since I couldnt see them on my browser. Basically, I was just wondering if each coordinate changed by pixel, kinda like the Buried Treasure game? Or could items be placed in a larger general area with a particular coordinate designation?

This was the my working placement, by the way (I figured another example couldnt hurt, right?):

When I worked the coords last night, I studied people's screenshots on where they had their items, then one item at a time slowly put them in the right spot. Moving up and down or left or right if I needed while paying attention on the bottom status bar what the coord were. With all those done I did the test to see if they'd work before I posted the coords.

They were just an experiment. I didn't think they'd work that well. :D

Ah, that's my error, then.

Ceris, that's exactly what my room looked like and it worked.

Earlier today I finished everything and "saw" the monster along with the "to be continued." Now when I go back everything is returned to their original rooms and there is no "to be continued" status. I tried moving everying back to the lit room and nothing is happening now. Anyone else have this happen?

YES! I got to the "To be continued..." sign to show up! *does happy dance with "overgrown, misshapen Gelert"*

Tripping the monster

My thanks to the folks who came up with the coordinates also. :D

I am not sure about other folks but I have two caves with moon light in them. I just picked one and tried placing the items by the coordinates in it.

At first nothing happened when I placed the last item, but then I backed out of the room. Then Ugly Bruno did his Home Alone routine. :roflol:

Maybe that can be of help to some folks. :)
