I know this is a totally ridiculous question, but you have found the other three constellations first, haven't you? I'm not trying to make you sound like an idiot, but I have no idea what might have happened.

I've found all of the constellations up until Florin's- though I found it just now. The star data was there...but in white text, like someone said. XD But I still can't see the actual stars in the telescope- just blue, unclickable stars. Cleared by cache, cookies, browsing history...

Whichever browser you are usering (IE firefox) try switching to the other one. That has helped with some other bugs people have had.

It's a distinct possibility. I think it's like in the LDP - the clues are given, but it is possible to find it for yourself, only in this plot it is a lot easier to find for yourself.

So:
janitor wrote: It sure is interesting watching those lights on the ceiling light up. What are you getting up to in that observatory, anyway?

Could this be the thief, as the janitor is suspicious of what you are doing? I've forgotton most of the others

EDIT: Or maybe it could be the Protector, as the janitor is being protective of the observatory. I know I'm clutching at straws here, but it is possible.

I think we are/will be dancing... :D

I was just pondering the archivist:

. Truly, our land has flourished because of his wise oversight in bringing us foodstuffs.

I find it....slightly freaky that "oversight" means both a mistake AND careful management. If two definitions were ever so far apart!

Another thing which freaked me today: I was late for work because my dog refused to come out of the bathroom!

Hey guys I'm new but I've been following your steps since the beginning
I think I have the same problem with the Farmer, I used both helps to find the constellations and I Just can't get the farmer, the web that give the coordinates says:

Found The Farmer:
267,-345
187,-405
197,-485
327,-435
307,-465
347,-475

But I Can't find those stars in the Map or the telescope..I've done all the steps and even the lenny archivist has my clues (the farmer one too) but nothing....Is it gonna change or is the end of the road for me??
Thanks for reading

Firstly, make sure you're looking at the right coordinates. If that's right, then revisit the Astronomy Club (that bit is important), then check your star data again, and reenter it. That should solve any problems.

Janitor quotes --

Before finding the Sleeper:

"Argh! Now it's light, and I'll have to go back to mopping instead of guarding this button! Curse you!" But you think he means "curse you" in a friendly way.

The janitor says, "Hm, so you joined an Astronomy Club, eh? That sounds like fun. I wish I had the time to join a club."

After finding the Sleeper:

The janitor shouts at you, "HEY! Stop leaving the lights on in the observatory! It's wasteful! I CAN'T STAND WASTEFULNESS!! RAAARGHH!!"

After finding the Dreamer:

The janitor says, "Those lights above each statue sure are pretty when they light up. I wonder what they mean?" He shakes his head. "Oh well, too much cleaning to do, no time to figure it out."

After finding the First to Rise:

The janitor shouts, "HEY! What's the big idea putting your grubby hands all over the windowsill?! I have to clean those things, you know! Were you raised in a barn?!"

After finding the Farmer:

The janitor says, "It sure is interesting watching those lights on the ceiling light up. What are you getting up to in that observatory, anyway?"

Thanks for all of those nifty quotes. I'm really starting to love the Janitor. He hates us and suspects us in a real friendly way....

I've changed my opinion of the Janitor. I'm now thinking that he will be far more important than I originally believed. Why else would he be in the Hall of Heroes? I think that the changing of his speech is significant, and once we know who the next hero is, I think we'll discover that the statement makes sense. We should definately remember that quote.

Tue Apr 04, 2006 4:50 pm

"The Astronomy Club members once again cheer as you enter the room. The president walks up, a smile plastered across his face. "Gosh, it's really great how you're finding all these constellations so fast. I really wish I knew how you did it." The smile is not in his eyes, though.

Nevertheless, he withdraws a small item from his robes. "Well, uh, anyway... I suppose you should have this, now that you're obviously a full-fledged astronomer."

I Did It But Nothing, My Star Data was the same..I Tried to find the Farmer in other parts (with the guide) but Either I Couldn't Find it or It Isn't there

I don't think they'd try the same thing twice. But I keep checking all the statues to make sure that nothing has become clickable on them - just in case. You can never be too sure...

Tue Apr 04, 2006 5:48 pm

LOL! He was a bit out of the way in LDP for toenail checking. His speech is a good indication of when you have 'moved on' in the plot though.

PM me your star data, and I'll try and help. I'm not very good, but I've got loads of free time at the moment, so I'll try and help as much as I can.
