neocam: ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO ME.EPIT

Thu Nov 10, 2005 6:49 pm

(While editing my last post, 2 users were posting; sorry to repeat, but in case it was missed and has any merit):

The neocam shows a handwritten sign: "ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO ME.EPIT" and I know where the long-standing joke comes from (the "all your base are belong to ...") but what do you suppose they are showing this for? Clue; red herring; joke on us? o_O

Maybe we should tell that to Nuria? :roflol: (Edit, tried; she didn't buy it.)

Since getting the mysterious scroll, has anyone tried the other temple traps - like the water one or the gas one? I tried the moving wall, but there was nowhere to click.

Been tried ;) By me and someone else. And got us kicked out, nothing more. :(

Also, as far as Nabile marrying Jazan, I didn't see it coming. I wish I wouldn't have read it here before I saw it.

My only "sort-of" complaint is that the last comic DID seem rushed as far as the art - the poor illustrator must have been on the wrong end of the whip this week, with ravenous LDP-ers scratching our eyes out waiting for the plot to conclude. But the new Lost Desert map looks beautiful so far. I can't wait to see what Qasala looks like, considering we will probably be able to visit now. Maybe Jazan and Nabile will ask us very nicely to help them rebuild. "You neopets won't mind pulling a few more blocks around and blowing up some more walls, do you? Now where did I put that crystal...."

I liked this plot; I thought it was a fantastic online experience, even when I was on dialup over the weekends. I'd do it again. I had fun both figuring out the puzzles on my own, mapping my unique path, and watching everyone work together and help each other out. I heard a lot of people complain, but I would like to hope it was an excited complaining, like at fire drills in elementary school. Heh. :D

:roflol: :roflol: I'm loving the meepit behind the sign. So if this has anything to do with the plot. . . meepits . . . ????
I think I may be going crazy :P

Did anyone else notice that in all of the plot comics, except for chapter 3, Jazan's horse no longer has the mummy bandages on him?

Well, I see it in more than just Chapter 3, but a LOT of the scenes show him differently now.

Yes, what if all along the evil Meepits were behind Jazan's curse and the disappearance of Sakhmet? I think I may be going crazy too, but those Meepits are capable of a lot of evil, including mind control (I think)? :P

Perhaps we cant visit sakhmet because its not finished being "rebuilt" after the massive distruction brought by jazan and and his evil creatures?

this has me on edge it almost makes ya think there will be a last installment cuz we havent seen what happens too the city or tomos but sadly I doubt dere will be

Can someone help me please?

Ummmm, I've been outta town for a minute. And I'm trying to keep up based on the guide in the first entry. But that whole thing about what scrolls to read when you first get the light has me confused. Are these scrolls that must be read from the temple, or the repository. And if it is indeed the repository, due to the fact that there are soooo many duplicates in each section, how do we know which ones to read?

Also, the comic, Nabile reads that Jazan will not be the only thing sthat lives once the curse is lifted. Plus, in other plots, didn't they label the last installment something different, like "conclusion" or something, and not just "Chapter 14"?

Sutek's Tomb

Thu Nov 10, 2005 7:19 pm

Have I just not played Sutek's Tomb in a very long time? Is this text new? I never noticed it before, nor does it seem to apply to the game once I actually click to play:

"To stop people getting at Sutek's riches (millions of Neopoints), his advisors placed a combination lock on the tomb. Strange symbols adorned an impassable door. For the person who could figure out the pattern to unlock the tomb, well, he would be the wealthiest person alive!"

Anyone? o_O

EDIT: Sorry, I guess it's just me going bonkers. I see how it applies to the game now, I just never noticed that bit before.

Well, I don't remember that, but sometimes I'm not very observant.

I admit to being not very observant either, but I can hardly see how anyone could get "rich" off of this game. I got lucky once, but nowhere near "a million neopoints" especially at a ratio of 20NP to every 100pts. :P

Yes, the scrolls are to be read in the repository. You know which ones to read by following the instructions in the first post and using the new colored card catalog racks just inside the entrance. If you have already gotten your first crystal, you should watch for your light, and be sure to record what time you see it and get a screenshot of the light sequence.
