Is anybody else mapping out their scrolls in the repository? I am trying to find all the scrolls and I have about 100 left....Takes time, but there is nothing else to be doing right now...

Nope. I don't have the time to do that, especially when we don't know for sure if it's useful.

Gone, forever.

Same here, I've still got a handful of colors I can't find, but the others all seem to be ridiculously plenteous, so I didn't bother writing down where they could be found.

I've made 2 strong efforts in the repository... In both cases, 1 scroll elluded me for the longest time. Both scenario's came up empty

1) Read a scroll of each color with my statue symbol. Most were easy except 1 had me searching FOREVER. I'm pretty comfortable that there was only 1 blue fer scroll in my entire temple!!

2) Read the scrolls in the order of my tablet, based on the colors of the special scrolls... again, no attention was paid to scroll shape since the shapes of the special scroll don't coincide with the repository scrolls. Once again, 1 scroll took forever to find, and once I found it, nothing happened.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm tired and more importantly... BORED. It doesn't even feel challenging.

I spent about 5 or so days doing it.

I just made the maps in Excel and numbered each rack and took a screenshot. Now if I need to find a specif scroll, I can pop open Vuepro, hit space to load each screenshot until I find the appropriate scroll, and then check the spreadsheet.

Right now I haven't managed to find two of the color/symbol combos... it's possible when I was going through my eye slipped over them (blue ahn and blu kar), but as likely they ain't there. Some symbols are definitely rarer (as we now know) than others!

Of course it was probably a waste of time since I went through the effort to do it. :P

As far as the idea that Nabile can't be the princess because she'd have remembered that... I remember a young boy who was born to a King who never knew until he was an adult that he had been so. The boy? Arthur, son of Uther and Ygraine (among other spellings o.O).

The whole "there are four rings," on the other hand, made me start going Orwellian (a bit thanks to Star Trek's homage to 1984... especially when Picard shouted "THERE ARE FOUR LIGHTS").... remember, "2+2=5".

Anyway, if I wasted my time mapping all of this, well, that's just doubleplusungood. I wonder if my eyes will ever uncross...

I know it might be a waste of time, but there is nothing else to try at the moment. and I am very patience so I still hope for a miracle with the scrolls, I hope there is something with them. Why would be do all the sand-carrying, block hauling and furniture placing, AND wait for the scholards to place the scrolls for nothing? There has to be something!!!!

Forever Hoping...

I went through every scroll rack in the repository and I still can't find 2 of my yellow Fers. Some other people seem to have the same problem, but alot of others can find every scroll.
I hope those missing scrolls won't be important....

I know what you mean. :)

I wish the scholars had been more organized though. Or at least had a card catalog to tell us where all the scrolls are. ;)

Maybe the Inferior Decorator could serve in place of a card catalog.

Why couldn't they sort them by colour and symbol?

Maybe we have to do that! :D Then my mapping of the scrolls wouldnt be worthless!

I have had no problem finding most of my scrolls. I havent counted how many I'm missing now, but I have found over 350 of my scrolls in the first floo, near the exit. I have checked the 38 scroll racks closest to the entrance/exit. But maybe some of the last will be harder to find.

Edit: I have gone thru the 48 scroll racks closest to the entrance/exit and found 350 of my scrolls. Still missing 70.

I know we've discussed the mysterious changing block in the locked room on the 1st floor but I just noticed something which I haven't seen before. I'm standing at square 15,42 which is in the small room just north of the locked room and I can click on the changing block (the block at 17,41), even though I'm two rows away from it and have a complete row of blocks between myself and it! Nothing else happens though (that I can see) - my mouse changes to a hand over it and it clicks. Can't explain it.

Edit: Should have added that when it clicks the picture refreshes

Ahoy. I'm catching up, but I'm still grabbing pieces of the tablet (ARRRG). But I haven't seen anyone knowing for certain what all of the scrolls in the repository are for. Does anyone know for certain if we are only supposed to read the ones with our faerie statue's symbol on them? Or has the plot sort of halted once you receive the crystal as of yet?

I will explain... No wait, there is too much, I will sum up.

That block has been noticed by several people, but clicking it so far does nothing.

My friend who's trying to catch up (mirielfox) is now convinced she has to map her Temple, so I have nothing to do at this time right now. Back to games on NP--remember those? They even give you Neopoints! & my Gelert pounces the Spirit now and then, but her heart's not in it, not knowing if she's accomplishing anything in exchange for getting bloodied. She's just barely able to defeat the thing, most of the time, and I still worry that something will change, and only fights after a certain event will "count."

Has anyone returned to the previous Lenny Conundrum? Now that it's over, we can say things like "The letters make a sentence if you start in the middle and read in a widdershins spiral." This sentence in turn gives you a sequence of colors--a sequence which as far as I know is the same for everyone. The colors are exactly the same as the colors on the seals on the scrolls in the repository. I tried having my pet read/eat scrolls with my faerie statue symbol (Kar, the leaf) with seals in that color sequence. Nothing seemed to happen. But I re-used several scrolls, since if your pet eats one, a scroll that looks just like it appears in its place. Has anyone tried reading/eating repository scrolls w/ "their" symbol, using the LC color sequence, but not repeating any scrolls?

Can anyone figure out some other way that the LC colors tie into this? It seems like too much coincidence that the answer is "Nabile," and the color exactly match the repository scroll seal colors.

Are you keeping track of which scrolls has your pet eaten so far?
