Hello.
I didn't move any sand or blocks (because the repository was already finished when I finally got to that point), but I did move a couple of pieces of furniture, and I was still able to get the Useless Crystal and all. I don't know where to go from here so I'm just going to wander around the repository...

I'm now down to 3, and I've found all the colours of my FER symbol.

I almost missed your post. That is interesting... I hadn't thought about the "remembers you" part of his message.
So:
You have to read your scroll in the temple library to get past the guards and into the repository;
Find all tablet pieces, translate the tablet and speak the prophecy to the statue to get covered in scarabs;
and have moved sand, blocks and/or furniture
to be able to get the crystal.
Is that right? Do we know if you have to have moved everything - blocks, sand and furniture? or will participating in only one part work?

I didnt participate and he said he remembered me

Had you gotten past the guards? And perhaps visited him during some of the wait times? Like, maybe duing the last one when he was telling everyone that he was out of a job?

I don't know if someone asked this before(and if so I apologize) But what is the significance of the LC? I just can't figure it out... o_O

The background colours of the letters in the LC are the same as the scroll symbol colours in the repository

We don't really know for sure that it has any significance at all. It is the only place we have found (so far) that has the same colors as the scrolls inside the repository. So, some are using it as a pattern to choosing which scrolls to read. There is a thread about the LC on the Help board here, if you need some help with it. Hints may be given, but solutions aren't allowed on PPT.

EDIT: Nevermind...I can't believe I didn't see it before...

As an update... I suggested last night that as the chef received crystal instead of veggies then 'someone' else may have veggies instead of crystal. If we can find who that is, exchange the crystal for veggies, bring those to the chef then that may give us access to these blocked areas as the chef was the foreman.

On what floor did you find a blue fer? I was beginning to think they didn't exist!

Hmm. I don't know if my friend with the underage account moved any blocks, certainly did sand and furniture. I know I managed to participate in all three, and defeat the spirit.

We did notice that the chef does seem to recognize "us" but doesn't say anything about wanting souvenirs. Looks like it's either (a) didn't successfully move any blocks, or (b) having an underage account.

Wow. That's sad. Oh, well. At least I can help my friend get the faerie abilities and weapons to beat the spirit of the ruins. Maybe that will be a consolation prize.

Floor 3. There were none on Floor 1, I only checked 1/3 basement but found none.

if you really want to know the lc, check the neoboards...those people have no scruples. i don't think it'll have anything to do with this plot though, other than the theme. the other LCs didn't help at all.

that is some brilliant speculation. but where would we take it? i suspect we're going to have to type in a url, otherwise someone would have found it in their normal wanderings around the site.

I took over my daughter's account, which is an underage account (I miss my Brucey Slots!). Anyway, I'm all up to date without any problems. I have my crystal

Sat Oct 22, 2005 5:24 pm

Okay.. for the crystal, do you have to keep doing that whole system over and over again (foreman, spirit, smokey vial, etc) before you actually get a crystal. Because I did it once, and she gave me a bloody shirt! A SHIRT.. I don't want a shirt. :cry:

Nevermind. Gotta take the shirt to the foreman..
Forgot that little bit.
