28 wins against Spirits, 5 against Scordrax... i think i'm maxing out here.
(if they stay till next week then i'm not maxed, coz i'll have Sink and Drain life ^^)

Lucifer: 28 against Spirit, 5 against Scordrax
Arogance1: 15 against Spirit
So are there really only 4 people here fighting these challengers?

I think it's fair to say that most of us were waiting for them to mention them in the news - I don't want to do all this fighting and then have TNT do a "Whoops, we forgot to mention these challengers in the battledome! We've reset your scores!" thing.
That said, I opted to pick it up this morning. I'm maxing out on Scordrax first, and have reached the one-round kill limit with about 50.

oh, I have 118 hp, 80 strength, 50 def.
eq: H4000 Helmet, Honey Potion, Ramtors Spellbook, Cloudy Wand of Storms, Leaf Shield, Downsize! and Green Scorchstone.
Abillities: Burrow, Drain Life .
I guess that with your stats and my weapons we can make 56 wins ^^

Hmm, my main problem is that I have really sub-par weapons. I used to restock to a small degree but my connection has been too slow compared to everyone else for a couple of years now to even bother.

I really doubt this will happen -- TNT hasn't forgotten the challengers; we had to fight one as part of the plot. They know we know the challengers are released.
I've beaten the spirit 17 times and Scordrax 3, and I'm not even close to being maxed out. However, I'm reluctant to max out until we know whether or not we'll need to fight these guys for anything else plot-related... or if winning multiple times even gives extra points.

It would be funny if they take away the challengers soon - them saying you had enough time to fight them, while some people are still waiting for this or that to happen before they really start fighting... It would be so typical for a neopets war

Don't go too crazy fighting these guys. You need to follow the instructions in the LDP thread in GenChat to get an item...and this involves fighting the Spirit of the Ruins.

prolly maxed on 29 and 5.
Spirits does 138dmg in one turn when i defend (i have 118hp), and maybe i can win Scordrax, but i need 4 turns without his JS, which is rather difficult.

I haven't been able to use my computer since Sunday (been going nuts!), so haven't gotten alot of battling in ...
So far, 20 wins Spirit, 5 wins Scordrax. I plan on trying some more tomorrow. I'm in the don't want to battle the opponents too much just in case I max out and need to battle (and win) for part of the plot - especially with Scordrax. He may be weak with weapons, but that healing is ebil!
