Hmmm...it looks like their is mispelled as thier?
There are some white pixels surrounding some of the weapons as well...
But overall it's nice ^^

It never occurred to me that that caption contest was a firefly reference.
Although a friend of mine picked up the BSG season one box set and pointed out that in the BSG origin miniseries, there is a very distinct firefly-class ship in the first big space battle scene. I didn't believe it either till I saw it.

I didn't even know there was a new random contest until last night. I had to make this. I worked in a movie theatre for 5+ years and besides being a projectionist, I also was in charge of changing posters;)

since entries are closed anyway, i suppose i might as well post my entry.... yeah, its pretty simple, but i realised 8 hours before entry that.... entries closed in 8 hours.... at i was also ready for bed. So i just made this up quick and cute.....

yeah, i feel bad the font looks horrible there, but i guess its really legible... so.... that helps. but the bottom of my poster looks horrible... really rushed. But that font..... thanks so much for posting that! I dont think i really needed it for this poster, but i need a font like that for school stuff all the time!

Aww... submissions are closed. I was working on making a poster, and had drawn the main image for it. I guess I'll still finish it. I just won't be able to submit it.

I actually submitted something for this random contest, as well. I have no artistic ability, so I was happy to hear we could cut and paste images. I actually did my entire entry completely in paint. It was not easy, to say the least.
Anyway, it doesn't seem that I won anything, though. I had hoped to get a pity 3rd place ... but all the entires that won look amazing. It's just a shame I can't draw.
