Question: Do all 5 players in a WC have to send 3 scores in order for the winners to be awarded pieces or is it only the winners who have to meet the requirement of sending 3 scores and having a rating higher than 0?

I like to help people out when I can and join challenges that need extra people, but I just realized I may not be helping at all if I only send one score.

Prizes will only be handed out when there are 5 people in the challenge. Regardless of how many scores they have sent in.

Calvin, there have to be 5 players for each challenge and 3 scores sent in. If you only play and send 1 score, then that does not count toward that hour's challenge (except for Sutek's Tomb - that only needs one score - don't know if there are any others).

That is the clearest explanation.

Also, for you to be eligible, you have to send in 3 scores, have a rating greater than 0 and be in one of the top positions.

So, has anyone converted a set 2 map yet? I want to know what these "much greater" prizes are. I haven't been as diligent about playing as I used to, so I only have 10 pieces of Tyrannia so far.

I'm at 15 pieces... I got all of those over the weekend... I haven't gotten any today... I've yet to see 5 players at once for mootix drop...

World Challenge has been sucking lately. Most hours late at night, there won't even be one person entered into the challenge, let alone five. I only have 12 pieces of the Tyrannia set 2 map because I have no one to compete with.

Things they ruined:

-They should have left it so we could win two pieces per hour. If someone is good enough to get the highest score and be in the top people, they deserve it. Seriously, 20 hours to earn a map, and then we get a stupid bearog (happened to me twice) or codestone (once)? At least when it only took 10 hours, it wasn't as bad.

-Scores should carry over into the next hour if they didn't get matched up with someone else's scores. It's not our fault if no one else sent a score.

-It should be... maybe three players required late at night instead of five. Fewer than five, anyway, because no one's even bothering to send a single score because they know there won't be enough players.

I totally agree. I think codestones are an awfully disappointing reward for the completion of a long and tedious process. It seems to be happening more frequently (for the first map set anyway) and it makes me weary of completing any more since I could easily profit better from selling the map pieces. Boo.

I haven't even gotten a piece to first one. :D I'm ok at most games, I get a decent score on pretty much every game but I never get a score high enough to win. So yea, I'm stuck seeing what other people get. I'll get home and practice on my favorite games(defender training, usuki fenzy, and whack a staff member) maybe I'll get better

Last night the scores were stuck for many hours -- no matter how many times people played or sent their scores, the lists wouldn't change. I was one of the top people in Volcano Run when this happened. I went to the site today and saw that I had three prize neomails and had "earned" three pieces because of the glitch. That's sort of nice... as long as TNT doesn't get freeze-happy or something (which shouldn't happen, because it wasn't the players' fault things got stuck).

I finally completed the 2nd Space Station pic.

I got back a Pink Petpet Paintbrush worth 100K.

This petpage... http://home.neopets.com/templates/homep ... nWarHelper

...is keeping track of WC II prizes and it looks to me like the prizes are exactly the same only they might have eliminated the codestones.

This is so disappointing when this happens ...

Image

3 decent to good scores ... with 11 people signed up for the challenge ... my scores end up sitting there for 1/2 hour with no one submitting scores for me to challenge.

End of the hour comes along ... and I've just wasted 100 NPs and 1/2 hour of time playing the game and sending my scores in ... because the scores won't carry over to the next hour to actually be challenged by someone.

A big load of pooey, is all I can say. They really need to change back the system where scores carry over ... it just seems so unfair now.

Yes, they definitely need to make it so scores carry over again.

Also: you know how, if the person who got the highest score was also in the top players, they would only get the high score piece and their other piece would go to the first player below the line? I don't think that's happening anymore. Now no one gets that piece. It's such a waste. Either give it to the person below the line, or let the other guy have the two pieces.

It takes so long to make even one map now. I have one full set of Tyrannia II and 14 pieces of another. There hardly seems to be anyone trading second set maps on the TP, either.
