Neither new nor unreleased. That came out a week or two ago for mutant day along with the hissi, everyone already discussed it.

EDIT/beaten by a few seconds...but I can still be useful:

It suddenly shows up as new again on Neocolours because the artist must have re-uploaded it, which means they must have fixed some minor detail in one of the poses.

It shows up as "unreleased" on Neocolours because Neocolours is an automatic system that seems to have trouble determining wether something is released anymore. A LOT of pets that were both announced and creatable still say "unreleased" on NC.

I missed Mutant Day. I just went by what it said on Neocolours.

Ah they swapped the Close range and range attacks round so it will show up again as "revamped"

I forget how neocolours checks to see if something is released or not...I think it goes by the rainbow pool? I don't think TNT add every color to the pool listing anymore.

Unless it changed from the last time I heard (which was a long while ago^^) they use a script to detect any new additions to the neopets /pets folder and it will automatically post it.

But it's probably more complicated than that seeing as sometimes it misses pets :/

I think it checks to see if existing colors have been added for existing pets. I know new colors and species have to be added in manually (which is why it's missing several things now, since Sam's been gone a while). It uses the Rainbow Pool to determine whether a pet is released or not. I'm not sure how exactly it finds revamps, but there are some errors with that - try looking at old versions of almost anything and you'll get a bunch of extra ones.

You mean "it" uses a script. Neocolours was created by one guy, Sam, and like Ooga said, he's gone. He doesn't play neopets anymore and doesn't update his site, it's just us NC forumers all alone and abandoned

Guess that's why Camo and custard colors were never added. Too bad, Finalhit on iDB, though I think he finally gave up neopets, he still updates the site with the techincal stuff,but we alos have back up admins, wish NC had back up people for the site, so they can add new colors.

Long ago there was a bunch of stuff going on that was supposed to assign new people to take care of the main NC site, but nothing came of it that I know of. Sam only returns now and then to put it back up when it completely collapses.
