there's nothing wrong with collecting retired item unless you are trying to falsely inflate them.

for example, check out the price of the smily petpet in the TP now. a small group of players is hoarding them and asking for 3.5m each. two of them are actually from the same guild and i am not dismissing the probability that they could be the same player

Wow, that Smiley thing has really annoyed me. The lots are all the same, single Smileys by themselves, the guild is private so I can't see what it's like.

seriously, that is so out of order, why do poeple want to do that to other people?

Thanks Rachel!

I think it's perfectly fine to have a gallery! You earned them yourself!

I actually agree with her...I've been trying to get a Halloween Paint brush for ages and I always see trades with, say, five Faerie PBs, a Halloween PB, two Glowing PBS and a bottle of blue sand; then the wishlist just says: "NFT!" or "lol lookit all mi pbz! u cant hav them so smurf"
And I check, and all their pets are yellow, deseased have no petpets.
Then they get themselves frozen and NO ONE can use them.

I could really care less if someone wants to collect 1 certain item. More power to ya! But what gets on my nerves are those who put them up in the trading post clogging it with NFT trades.
It gets EXTREMELY annoying when you're trying to find something to buy (or you're trying to price something) in the trading post and all you see are the NFT's.

If you were hoarding them to up the price, perhaps I could see a problem, but as a COLLECTION? No way. I know a girl who collects Meowclops, and thats completely fine. She isn't trying to make them rarer, just trying to make herself happy.

Don't let it bug you.

I do suggest you only put them up for trade if you are actually going to consider fair trades for them. If you're going to say "800 billion nps" than you're lucky you haven't been warned for using the TP as a place to show off yet.

I kind of agree with Istanbullfrog, if your putting them up for show, thats stupid, but a private collection is a good idea :D

I don't think I'm clogging up trades since most of my gallions are painted and so there's basically less than 10 trades up there with painted gallions. The normal gallions I take up 2 out of 18, so I don't think I'm doing too much damage there as well...

It doesn't matter. The Trading Post is not supposed to be used to showcase your items. It's for trading. TNT wouldn't have created a rule against NFT lots if it wasn't a big deal.

You worked for it, so you're not wrong. Just don't display it on the TP.
She got her facts wrong too.
