Kougra 2 Won!

Oh bubba, I'm really hoping they don't mess too much with darigan, mutant and halloween kougras...it really would look odd! Royal? I'm not sure if that one will change very much, only because that is a newer pb and the artwork on that pet was kind of different, at least to me.

I guess we'll all just have to wait and see *crosses fingers and toes that it's not too bad*. No, I'd never, ever disown, morph or zap my kougra *hugs her*, I just wish she was back to being a little more "tough" looking.

Depending on how all the colors are revamped, I may consider painting my kougra (something I swore would never happen when I created her - I wanted a blue kougra) if there's a color that makes them look older/tougher/more big cat-like. One more thing to save for

Well, I've calmed down a little. I hope they tweak it's face good and I hope they change the body so it's less kitten like. At least the Maraquan one will be better But they better leave Mr Haiku Kougra alone.

It still offends me how I spent ages to paint my Kougra baby and now it will look like one anyway. But I've always got my Jetsam to be my tough looking pet.

Perhaps you (plural) should wait until it is actually finished before judging it?

Darigan seems very unlikely in my opinion, it's a pretty much "revamped" far as its design and if they do it would ruin the pet in my opinion.

They better not touch it.... let it remain unique!

I agree Rune, pretty much the same with halloween. Instead of this great cat with those big wings, a halloween...kitten? with a cute widdle witchypoo hat or something? Urgh. But mainly I think darigan should be left alone, just for the cost of that pb if nothing else. Plus darigan is, IMHO one of the best looks ever - on just about every pet.

Beaten poses has always been a turn off to me with kougras...aside from thier horrible hit pose. What's going on in those hit poses? Their hind leg got knocked out of the hip ball socket or something?

This was all my opinion, not a fact...don't hurt me. *waves stick* I'll gore eyes out if needed.

ok, since we're talking about which ones we think will be redrawn, i thought i'd throw in my two cents worth.

Obviously the plain colours will be redone, as well as the 4 basics, that also includes brown, checkered, electric, fire, ghost, glowing, orange, purple, rainbow, shadow, skunk, spotted, starry and white.

Then there's the ones that are slightly different to the plain pose, and hopefully they'll re-do them nice an interestingly. this includes christmas, desert, halloween and island.

the rest all look different to the standard pose, so i'm not sure if they'll update them.
I think baby is a no-go zone, and as they're all so different it doesnt really matter
the darigan one i dont think needs to be changed, but you never know.
the faerie one looks qite similar to the new one anyway, so that doesnt need it.
i agree with everyone else, the maraquan one NEEDS to be redone, whichever kougra had won.
The mutant one i think will be re-done, because although it looks different it's in the same pose as the standard kougras, so i think they'll change that.
the pirate one i didnt include on a previous list because it doesnt look like the other kougras, but it will need to be redone to go with the new lok
plushie i'm not sure on...
robot i think will stay the same
the same with the two royals
and lastly tyrannian, i'm not sure, it does look completely different to the other kougras, so it might stay the same, but then it doesnt look anything similar to the new one....

i want them to redraw the maraquan kougra so it's not cross-eyed. it looks so dumb. it's the only maraquan pet i don't like.

None of the Kougra picks looked like it. I would have voted a kougra like that, if there was one. 4 was the closest to that one.

That would have been just about perfect! I agree, Armi, that one is very close to #4. It still has that "cuteness" about it, but it doesn't look so baby-fied. I really like that drawing! Thanks again

One of my theories is that the "old revamped Kougra" was based more on the RoS Kougra illustations (if you look at the basic cards, they are very similar to the first revamp.) When they decided to revamp it they prolly didn't take those possibilities into consideration.

Yes, ever since you suggested that they re-re-vamp the Kougra to look like that, I have really been wishing they would. I sent in a few dozen Editorial requests about it, but I suppose they just didn't get them or ignored them. Ah well...
