Is it a general fact that our items have to look like the screenie for the creature to look in the mirror?

The first time the trash wasn't in the light, and the second it was. Both times was the normal response.

I kept moving things around til the monster came, then I got the the different event. Keen.

I got the message in an unlit room with only the food and the mirror

Just checked when I got it again, and nope - no hidden links.

But I finally got the grue joke to pop up. It amused me.

Well, I for one can't get mine like the screenie because my doorways are on the side, so the lampost cannot fit straight across the door.

But the situation must be right, just need to manoveur the items.

My lit rooms are different from the screenshotted room...so I tried the configuration in the screenshot...and got regular flee oO

two things
one: Do you think the new event is effected by which of the two lite rooms you put the stuff in?
and two: neither of my rooms with the light have two doors like in the screen shot. Anybody get the chipped mirror event with only one door to their room yet?

i can't seem to pick up the table and the chest. can they not be picked up?

i was also thinking that the key maybe for opening the chest, but it doesn't do anything so far...

I have had it work consistantly with the mirror, food, and another item to click on repeatedly to make the monster appear. No precise locations needed.

I am now trying it in an unlit room.
