Again, just to stress, be careful when going anywhere on the site that involves another person. Games, dailies, etc. I would imagine to be safe, but lookups/shops/etc. are the general hotspots.
What exploit did he find and use? Cookie grabbers have been around a long time before this. Like I said, hacker is a term used too much that gives way too much undeserved credit to way to many people.
In any case, this is off topic... however if Neopets would just release the da... stupid clue, we would have something on topic to talk about
