So, when do you guys think we'll have to start moving large handfuls of stones (Or handfuls of large stones) in order to dig into the pyramid and create some space for the scrolls ??

I don't think we'll be doing that. The 15 minutes is just another delaying tactic but I don't think the next bit will be to dig again :/
Maybe now they'll realise the scrolls are all in the temple instead
As for "handful of large stones" - as I said earlier it's nothing to do with the plot. They are a one player battledome opponent weapon belonging to the enraged maraquan mob of last war.

As someone mentioned before, the stones are a battledome weapon of one of angry maraquan mob (or something like that)
