Well, I lost just a few things, codestones and a couple bottled dark faeries I'd gotten and stashed in my sdb for training. I note that I lost some battle stuff I'd just equipped on that pet too, but nothing uber expensive . I know my RL friend lost, she thinks, just a halloween goodie bag. She had actually bought it to send to me for my gallery (she's so nice).
So, we were both actually very lucky. That and the fact that I spend alot of np about 2 weeks ago on a skunk pb for my newest pet and all I've realy been doing since then is play games, put him in training, buy a codestone, go back and play some more games, buy a faerie and/or codestone. Meaning I'm not right now a high priced item player. I'll just have to play the extra (thank you for that!) games to try to recoup and when things are cool, buy them again I guess.
I do agree, if things are getting weird or "glitchy", it seems the best thing to do is -- nothing. Don't move any items, at least not with quickstock, and if you have something really expensive I guess try stashing it in your shop?
I'm only worried about all the "glitchiness" because it's Friday. Weekends were for a long time notorious for being crazy, usually starting Friday night and not ending until sometime Monday. So be careful, unless you really need to buy something (like for a quest), don't go shopping, be careful how/where you move any items if you move them at all. It may also be kinder to the system right now, since it looks like things are still be worked on. It sure isn't "stable" as was said in the News:

Sorry, we have been struggling all day with horrible technical problems but the site is finally back! We apologise for all the problems, everything should be a lot more stable from now on though.
Something big with "horrible technical problems" especially on a site as large as Neo, well, it is going to take probably a few days to get things back on track. I do hope that somehow people do get their items/np back - at least part of them if not all of them. I feel really bad for people who lost alot and I feel bad for the folks at TNT, this can't be easy for them either. And no one can predict something like this, if they could, I'm sure they would have done something to try to avert it. The only thing that it seems should have been done was a better backup/redundancy implemented so people didn't lose things. Unless of course a server simply completely crashed - then no backup would save anything because there'd be no backup.
Me? Think I'll just stick to playing some games at least for the weekend - no training, no shopping; and I'm going to advise my friend to do the same when she logs onto the site tonight.
