When you know which sticks need to be removed, list them in alphabetical order without any spaces or commas.

Thanks, and what do they mean by "so there's only four left"? As in 4 sticks left or what?

I got it. LEt me think of how to give a hint......

Hint: Do not think of the question as numbers cos 24-11 is not 4.

There cannot logically be only 4 sticks left when you start with 24 and take away 11 because that leaves 13. Therefore it has to be something that represents four. Unfortunately, digital number 4 contains only four sticks. So does spelling the word four contain only four letters. I am still working on it. It tickles the back of my mind ... right next to my migraine!

Look. There is only one answer. I just found it. If anyone wants me to spell it out for them, then too bad. I already have.
