Lets see: I remember people having Theme Parks but I never had one myself. I remember when you could buy stocks at 0np. I remember battledome beta testing. I remember when books didn't disappear. Too bad Neopets decided to downgrade.

If I knew then, what I know now, I'd be a very rich neopian.

typo, right? o.O The only stocks at 0 have been bankrupt ones... Stocks don't go below 6 unless they're bankrupt, and never have...

Well, before you didn't have to have the 15 NP minimum. You could buy them at low prices.

Those WERE the days. I remember painting all my pets Faerie for around 200k (lucky shop wiz finds as well).

Codestones at 3k, that was great too.

I remember back in the day when Neopets didn't go on out of control ice-ray sprees too. *sigh*

When I first started Neo in 2001, I remember distinctly the lowest price of a Fire pb was 37,000 np. I wanted a Fire Lupe soooo badly, but I knew I would never be able to afford to buy one because I was always so poor. (That was when 100 np seemed like a lot. lol)

Actually, it's the same way today... o.O;

(Luckily for me, I'm not still hopelessly enamored with Fire Lupes. lol)

The very first paint brush I ever bought, a Starry one, cost me exactly 89k. That was... ohh... 2 years ago?

I thought they changed it into the Kyrii. But anyway, I remember that one! It resembled Ron Weasley. I also remember when Eyries were Cerpulls. And when you needed a Muntando Fruit to get into the Training School. And that first plot, where Sloth had an evil plot to fire a ray at Neopia and turn all the pets into UGLY MUTANTS (as the Space Faerie said, capitalization hers) and imprisoned the Space Faerie for the ransom of tons of adopted Grundos. It was really stupid. Kacheeks were Badeeks, Gelerts looked decent, Quiggles were Frogstomps, and you could do everything on the whole site in a day.

And Maraqua, of course. Sarkis, Buckley and Ursulla. Professor Chesterpot the creepy Acara. Chiazilla vs. Mechachiazilla. The plot centered on the Battledome's coming reconstruction and Sloth wanting it for his own. There was something about Sarkis & Co being abducted by hostile Mystery Islanders and rescued by this Techo. I have a Neopian Times article on Sarkis being the Deckswabber. Maraqua itself was pretty lame, but I miss it now. And I still avoid Krawk Island.

I remember waiting for the battledome, I used to have a couple hypno helmets before I sold them because they were useless (man, was that a mistake).
I remember when you just had to sign for sponsers to use the Rainbow Fountain (whootness. =))
I remember the original Bruces, Mellish (Mynchi), Fuzio, M@cy_gray (Kau), Tigren (Acara), Badeek (Kacheek) and the other old pets.
I remember buying faeries for 800 NP each. ^_^ (I'd play Badeek/Kacheek Seek the maximum amount of times for each pet, then go buy one)
Hell, I remember lots of things.. ^_^ too many to list here, really.

oh, I miss discount cards so much....see, even though Neopets had sponser stuff before, it still worked out really well. Too bad they had to change it....Man, I remember buying a hypno helmet for like 150 nps from somebody that didn't want it . bet they're regretting that now! Wow, sad thing is, even though Neopets has a TON more things to do now (neoquest, games, etc) I miss the old neo.

I remember when there use to be a Macie Grey pet...and when neo let you have a place to store images. I also rememer when you had a place called a guild that you could join but nothing else ever happend.

I remember when Checkered Paint Brushes were 20k and Purple Paint Brushes were 7k.

Lab Maps were 7k and Space Maps were 3k...

Oh wow, I remember my first days on my old account. I won about 950 NP off of Chia Bingo (MAN I LOVED THAT GAME!) and bought my Kacheek a Hopso because I thought it looked so cute.

When gnomes costed 3-5k the first morning they were released.

Dang, I remember going on a 2-week vacation (one week cruise followed by a week at Universal Studios) and coming back. Immediately I turned on the laptop and opened Neopets. I checked the world map and bam - there was Meridell!

When the only suitable furniture for a bathroom was a mat and a bath tub (or dung bath tub if you weren't as rich.)

When you could buy things from the hidden tower for as low as 244k.
