Thats just...sad....couldn't they atleast put some effort into it?

You can see the white around it, all they did is make an orange backround with items, and made a white box, with no border.

Personally PITIFUL, if you ask me. :x

Yeah, but you're not a Neopet's artist.

Exactly. This person was hired to make the best possible graphics possible for the site. This is not the best graphic possible...

I know I'm not, but personally, its better then most other stuff. That IS good grapic in my opinion. We are just used to better.

Fri Oct 29, 2004 8:57 pm

oh thats just lazy....they could have done much better than that.

Fri Oct 29, 2004 9:59 pm

See the difference? They could've done a better job on the Korbat one, too.

I could do a better job, and all I have is MSPaint :P

Every artist has their bad days.
I understand that this is a website with professional artists... but that doesn't mean that everything they do has to be spectacular.

I mean, lookit me? I do freakishly detailed things with 005 micron pens, and yet, I can still go into my sketchbook and find utter ugly horrible drawings that i've done the day before.
Not everything an artist does is perfect, and it could be someone new to the program. So perhaps that something that should be taken into consideration.

Yeah, that's very true.

I just think the artist(s) should have focused on making one blog as best as they could, instead of doing two blogs.

I see the point you're trying to make here, but is removing a few little white pixels too much to ask?

That blog is awful, I mean, come on, they even used the really really old pictures that look horrible. I understand that artists have bad days sometimes, but those blogs are just, bleh, they could have done such a better job. Even I can do a blog thats much better than those.

I bet you couldnt if you were having a BAD drawing day.

They could be someone being trained to do it. They're advertising an artists position on the jobs page. So you never know whats going on internally.

I must admit to being more then a little bit upset at seeing the comments this thread has... especially from an artistic perspective.

*shakes head*
