I thought we WERE the elite! Only place I've seen that had a hint for that really hard Mystery Pict that only 162 people got. Makes PPT THE place for my elite self. And people here are ... nice ::breath of fresh air:::
Chcke dthem out...they ask for some scary information (stuff I wouldn't tell my MOTHER because I try hard to protect my neopets accounts).
They ask for enough info in thier request form that they could fill out a 'stolen account application' at neopets.

Any place online that wants to know too much personal information would turn me off. And just because you make a group to call yourselves elite doesn't make you elite.

Yes, it asks for enough info to get your account. Screenname, most advanced pet (which would most likely be your active pet), email, location, other galleries...

Hmm, Jelly it asks for all that?! Well, if I'm wrong I will certainly apologize, but that just has the strong scent of scam all over it!

Someone posted the address on the help neoboard.

Hmmm my first impression is not to trust it. My other impression is even if I did trust it, I would never join it or something like that. PPT is the only Neopets forum I go to, and the only reason I got hooked on PPT is because during one the times when Neopets was down I began checking PPT out and I got good vibes.

Well, you can always put a fake name where they ask for "real name". That's what I sometimes do when filling up forms I don't trust. They have no way to know your real name.
And I especially dislike the part about "Respect our hierachy. Our committe members wish to remain anonymous". It may just turn out to be a bunch of 10-year-olds with accounts worth 100k thinking that they are very L33T who created that club.

True, if they spell like that then they must be ten years old.

That's what I'm thinking.

It's too bad that mostly 10-11 year-olds (or people with that maturity level...

) that don't have a smidgen of common sense have invaded Neo. If there were fewer, it would be a better place, I guarantee.
Ok, I'll stop complaing now...

They would have been banned

SHHHH! PPT is "family-friendly", so we welcome all members from all age groups and levels of maturity, provided they follow the rules.

No offence but...
If you think it looks shady then Don't sign up.
Simple as...
Everyones alowed to have a club or guild about neopets. Let them have their fun. They probably just want to sound mysterious as to put regular beggars and such off their site?
I wouldn't judge it based on the main page.
