new yellow bar

Here's an idea. Somehow differentiate between World and Explore. When I was new I kept getting them confused, especially with the earth by World. I kept thinking earth symbol=explore map.

Yes, we are going to do that we just don't know how. World doesnt make sense, but nor does 'stats' or 'other' or 'misc' ...

Explore will always be the map of Neopia, World will be changing, most of the content from it is probably going to go to other pages. We'll make explore and pet central bigger and eventually world will go away.

What would you most like to see on the bar instead of World? Suggestions include "My Items" or "Merchandise" or "OMG Adam has 5 pets"

Because of the ad, it makes you have to scroll down even more....

Actually you have to scroll down less on average because we removed the neopets logo from the top right AND the "New Event" text.

Ah, it won't be that bad, I doubt many people on here even go onto the neoboards. Too much *wince* chatspeak...

It's quite a nice design, but I can see a load of problems for the people who want to design their lookup to cover up the entire bar (that massive banner will show through almost any layering). Leaving bits of yellow looks messy.

One thing I've never understood is having both pet central and world. I can't see why the information on both isn't pushed into one page. All of the links to places aren't *really* directly related to the header, (Example is there's a link to the Mystery Pic game in Pet Central)

Ah, getting rid of World is better. I never really saw a purpose to it when you probably could've fit it all in Pet Central. You'd expect to see a list of pets under pet central, or at least I would. I'd like My Items on the bar. That would save some hassle.

True, but many from the neoboards do come here... Or even not from the neoboards... Someone is going to try to show off their 'knowledge'.
