My birthday is in a few months! :-P
But my pets are worth alot....
I had to save up for ages to get my one pet.
And someone really helped me alot with that.
The other was lab.
The other was an underpriced paint brush.
The other was just cheap.
I have realized though I don't really care if I get alot of neopets.
It would be great but neopets is just a bunch of pixels.

lol that's almost impossible. I advise you to go on boards that are not known for immaturity, since you get mostly beggers on the help chat, av/sig chat, ect. But really, watch out that you don't give away too much in one day, it would make TNT suspicious and I doubt you want to be frozen before you can finish up everything on neo.

lol, j/k. I only use Neo for chatting on the help boards, so I don't have much need for neopoints. Used to have an okay account, but I gave everything away on that one to start fresh and do nothing but talk on the chat boards.

I've learned a lot from that giveaway. Like, for instance, that starting a siggy contest is a freezable offense. X_X My giveaway stopped right there.

EDIT: Seriously, how are you supposed to scam someone with a siggy contest?

It does help if you stop trying hard to earn np. No expectations=no stress. I stopped saving up for stuff after I got the lab map. I earn like 3k a day now, and it's so much less stress than before, when I was trying for 15k a day. @_@ Scary, scary...I have no goals or wishes at all, now, and I'm having more fun.

Here's another thought: instead of playing Neopets, write an article for the Neopian Times, or draw your pets, or build petpages for your pets, or...you get the idea.

I think it's great that you're doing this, and as much as I'd love to receive free neopoints and items (I've got 11000 np cause I'm a spendthrift ), a break like the others said might be a better preliminary step... maybe log on once a week, and start to get to like it again. Absences makes the heart grow fonder, no?

I've had breaks before, but i always went back to restocking. This will be more like a clean sweep. You know, i always loved the Ona, and i bought one..but i kept it in a gallery ..well, i'm taking it out and dusting it off and attaching it to one of my pets instead.

I can understand how you feel. There were some days that I practically lived on Neopets. I don't restock, but I would play games to make as much nps as possible. I didn't do it to get rich, I did it to earn nps for a certain pb or item. Now I only get on Neopets each day to lab my pet (with a map I got because I won some nps off the lottery) , make sure they are fed, and play a game or two when I'm bored.

If you want to get rid of some things, I'm looking to buy some items for my gallery at a reasonable price if you are interested in selling items instead of giving them away. I have gallery related to my pets. I'm looking for shoyru, eyrie, ixi, and yurble items that I don't have. My gallery is under the user name shinigamisrevenge.

I know what its like - I am an avid restocker too... but I reccomend that whenever you have the oppurtunity to do anything else, take it. Just call your friends, go out as much as possible or do anything to keep away from the computer.

Well that decision is hard to make. I ussually get really active in the sumer and slow down in the school year, and I know how you feel. If you are going to give away your np, I suggest you leave 100k just in case you come back, same with your pets, leave one...your favorite just in case you come back.

EDIT: If you are trying to find deserving people, don't go on av/sig boards...they are greedy, same with newbies. I would try neopian writers or role playing

i wouldn't call it a going away, more like a coming in, relaxing, not worrying about beating 1000 other people to a restock and playing games that i like because i want to not because of an avatar. And i am keeping 100k for myself because i still need to put my pets in the lodge. I'll have to pound the other pets in the other accounts though cause i'm closing those accounts.

Man, that sucks...Actually it won't. Because when you get obsessed with anything it takes away from actual fun. So hopefully you can have real fun and stuff! (Or be like me and get a friend to join neopets for the soul purpose of getting more avatars then them. ^^() )

Of course they did replace it but then it dissapeared. And that is the story of why my petpets name is glitch. [/end rant]

EDIT: Oh yeah, I forgot, don't tell your friends your password. Because when you quit they steal all your neopoints. (Yes it happened to me...but I'm to nice to freeze them *Cough i got it back cough*)
